Haseo's steps were heavy with the weight of righteous anger as he was escorted into the Sun Room, his posture so sullen and reluctant you could almost hear the nostalgic cry of an electric guitar. He was seething, and though perhaps it was a bit harder to be intimidating while wearing the uniform of an insane asylum and flanked by a bored-looking orderly, it was not for lack of trying.
Unfortunately, his nurse seemed unaffected by the act, and even with the cloud of failing to keep "Kai" away from "Peyton" hanging over her, remained determinedly cheerful. She merely said something about receiving a lecture later on, ignored his retorts, and assured him that it would be alright even though his internet stalker was in the same building. For the most part, Haseo tuned her babbling out after that, dismissing it as hopeless.
"...and usually this would be the time children would be taking showers, but you don't have to worry about that right now. Now then, le--"
"Wait. What?"
"Oh, all the children seventeen or under are separated right now while the adults go to the courtyard..."
"Hey, I'm not a kid you old--!"
"Oh of course you aren't dear, but you're not eighteen yet either, now are you?"
Haseo resisted the urge to do something rash, literally biting his tongue to keep quiet. But upon having the bulletin board pointed out to him, he shrugged off his anger for the most part and headed that way, fully intending to get more answers than he'd had time to receive during breakfast.
Well... at least Endrance is in another shower group, he thought, Thank god.
[Closed to Tsukasa, for now!]

Endrance turned his head to look at the intercom, giving it a look that would wither an entire rose garden in an instant. He would never get used to ending up in his room again from somewhere else in the Institute.
He brushed his bangs out of his eyes, not sitting up just yet. He could tell already that his torso had been heavily bandaged, even more so than it had been the night before. The cuts on his arms were covered with fresh bandages, and the one on his cheek seemed to no longer be there at all.
Endrance had been expecting to wake up in a lot of pain, but even that seemed numbed. "They must have given me something," he murmured quietly, as he slowly sat up.
At that moment, his nurse came to get him, pushing a wheelchair along with her. "Peyton, dear, good morning. I've come to take you to breakfast, so..." He shook his head. "I'm fine. There's no need for that...I can walk perfectly well."
She sighed. Well, if he insisted, she wasn't going to stop him. She motioned for an orderly to take the chair away, and walked him to the cafeteria. Once they had gotten there, she pointed him toward a seat, then set a full tray of pancakes covered with syrup, a bowl of fruit, and a glass of orange juice in front of him. "Now eat all of that, Peyton, or else you won't be strong enough to keep walking like that."
He glared at her back as she walked away, then stopped suddenly. There was that faint pulse he'd felt the night before...it was exactly the same.
And so he completely ignored his food in favor of staring at the cafeteria doors, looking at every patient that came in.

Once the door was open Yue cautiously moved forward, casting about with his light to make certain nothing else was moving within the room before he entered completely. The place looked much the same as it had when he'd visited the week before, though it was clear that this time they were the first ones to visit.
Hopefully that meant that any of the Institute's creatures which might call this room their home hadn't yet been roused to alertness. He'd rather not have a repeat of their encounter the night before, not until they'd managed to better arm themselves, especially not when Touya had yet to recover.
The guardian glanced back over his shoulder at Touya and gestured into the room with his free hand. "I don't know if there's anything worthwhile in here, but it can't hurt to check."

[From here. Unknowingly waiting for Mitsuru.]
There was noise. Vague, subdued. The sort not many cared enough to pay mind to. Nigredo couldn't be certain from his position, but it sounded a good deal like a conversation. The voices came from down below (likely from the Sun Room itself), but with barely any lighting, the variant stood a good chance of being wrong. He was also high enough to not make out any concrete words, only impressions.
His curiosity piqued. Before he knew it, the boy peered down over the railing to the scenery below, catching nothing more than forms and shadows. He could have done a sweep with his flashlight but opted out on the account of keeping his cover. Nigredo didn't want anyone to think he was eavesdropping, after all.

As soon as the doors unlocked and night fell, Kira was up out of his bed and feeling around underneath it to take hold of his sword. When he stood, he paused and looked at the pillow; he recalled the night before when he'd failed to bring the pillowcase, and as such had caused difficulty for himself. He set down the blade and removed the pillowcase, then grabbed the necessities for the night and headed out.
He hadn't checked the bulletin board right before he'd gone back to the room, but he assumed it wouldn't be too difficult to find Hanatarou. Quietly, glancing both ways down the hall before actually leaving the room, Kira slipped into the darkness and made his way toward the exit.

The Head Doctor's voice seemed like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day – that is, it would have if patients hadn't just woken up from his creepy ramblings. He was humming something to himself; it sounded like "Old McDonald Had a Farm."
"Eee-iii-ee-iii.... ...oh!" The Head Doctor exclaimed, as if surprised at having "accidentally" broadcasted himself. "Good morning, everyone, and I hope you all slept well while we brought in some new patients who I'm sure you will all become fast friends with. Of course, a meal is the best place to talk, to bond, to forge connections... and this morning, you'll be able to do that over some delicious waffles. Mmmmm! Yes, yes, we have Belgian waffles with maple syrup and butter available, along with sausage and bacon, tater tots, scrambled eggs, and a large assortment of fresh fruit and nut toppings to choose from. Of course, you can just have the fruit itself; we have a salad bar open during each meal, as most of you already know, and we also have milk, ice-cold water, and fresh orange juice, along with the regular choice of juices.
"...Mmmm. Doesn't that all just make your mouth water? It certainly is for me! I do wish I could sit with all of you and introduce you all in person, but, unfortunately, for the sake of my safety and yours, I'm afraid that's impossible at this time. But, if all of you behave for an extended period of time... who knows what may be possible!
"Anyway, I believe that's all for now. Over and out!"
The Head Doctor's slightly unorthodox style of announcement was punctuated by the way the microphone cracked off, as if he'd swept his hand down upon the switch.

The Sun Room at night was drastically different from its impression during the day. The sunlight allowed beams of moonlight to hauntingly cascade in. The chairs and sofas looked like perfect hiding places, and Archer checked them with his light. He felt uneasy but he needed the materials for his bow.
"The Music Room's over there alright Brook?" He pointed at his roommate's goal. "I'm going over here to the Arts and Crafts Room. We'll meet back here in a few minutes." Archer really didn't feel like bailing out his roommate, but he couldn't exactly leave him to the wolves either. "If something happens then give a shout, and I'll come over, alright?"

The hall was empty when he arrived, which was something of a relief. Last night the hall had gotten fairly crowded with people coming and going and even people trying to keep others out of the Sun Room. He knew there'd been some kind of fight going on in there, so maybe it'd been for the best to involve as few as possible. For now, though, things were quiet, and Allen was content to lean back against the wall and wait for Rukia and Rinali to arrive. He knew Rukia would be a bit delayed, since she had to meet with her captain, but hopefully Rinali would still be able to make it to the meeting point before long.

The Head Doctor's announcement was intriguing, to say the least. Putting that information together with what Kagura had told him about trying to climb the walls last night made Leon quite curious to investigate the Rec Field.
But doing that in his current condition and with his current lack of weapons would be suicide. Leon pulled on the heavy, grey sweater and collected his flashlight and baseball bat. He tore the pages with the maps out of his journal, and tucked them into his pocket. The second floor supposedly had some interesting things. Things like knives.
With a goal in mind, Leon walked down the hall, relying on the light from other patients' flashlights to guide him, at least for now. [to here]

It didn't look like many patients were out and about yet, which suited Sai's purposes just fine. The less bodies there were to maneuver around, the more quickly he could reach his target destination. He supposed making any haste at all was unnecessary, as it was doubtful Usopp would be going anywhere, but it was never a good idea to stick about in one hall for very long anyway if it could be helped.

"Good evening, patients and staff!" the Head Doctor said just as the intercom's usual jingle ended. Strangely, he seemed even more tense now than he had been throughout the day, though as he continued to speak, he seemed to get back into the usual swing of things. "I hope you all had very productive outdoor activities today and helpful therapy sessions to boot. Now, however, we must all begin to retire, and as always, our nurses will be bringing your dinner to your rooms shortly after your being escorted there. Tonight's meal includes a generous portion of delicious spaghetti with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese (and meatballs if you choose), along with sides of hot garlic bread and fresh Caesar salad. For dessert, we will be serving slices of moist chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream."
The Head Doctor paused, and there was the sound of rustling and then muffled voices, as if the doctor had put his hand over the microphone and was clarifying something with someone--a female voice, probably Lydia. He took his hand off the mic and cleared his throat.
"Yes, that's all for now. I hope you all enjoy dinner, and remember, some of you tonight will be lucky enough to participate in our CM-US Experimental Therapy Trials, so look forward to that after the meal. Goodbye for now!"
The intercom clicked off.

Momo was planning on heading to the red field, but her instructions from Hitsugaya about her needing to see to Mustang had her going to the Sun Room. The shinigami stood by the door, leaning back against the wall, as she waited for the colonel to appear.

The basement didn't seem to be the place-to-be for tonight, since besides a certain brat in the Sun room Albel hadn't ran into anyone on his way thus far. Not that he complained or anything. He could do without some worthless maggots dragging him down.
Nothing had attacked him in the cafeteria, so he had quickly found the door to the kitchen. The captain slammed his body into the useless obstacle, and after repeating it a few times the lock broke. He stumbled inside, and nearly crashed into the cabinet he had slammed his shoulder against during his last visit.
In any case, he had reached the kitchen. That door leading to the basement was supposed to be around here somewhere, though he really had no idea where to look. Probably not anywhere in the cabinets or the drawers, so he began searching the walls for some sort of unoriginal secret door.
All the while, he made sure he didn't let his guard down. Breaking down the door had made enough noise to alert whatever maggot hiding here of his presence.

It seemed that brat didn't follow him anymore. Good riddance. He could do without the stupid maggot's whining, really.
Albel's crimson eyes glanced around as he entered the cafeteria, on his guard in case some worm happened to be hiding around here. The small beam of his flashlight didn't really make much of a difference, though, he couldn't see much further into the room. Useless piece of crap.
When nothing had launched itself at his throat yet, Albel saw no reason to keep standing around. He silently moved further into the room, passed the chairs and tables towards the kitchen.

Because there were always so many idiots heading to the Sun room during the night, Albel Nox was a little surprised to discover he was actually the firstidiot person to enter it. Even when he opened the door, he could tell there wasn't a single sign of battle just yet.
The warrior wasn't sure whether to be disappointed or not.
It had been a while (only a couple of nights, really) since he had a good fight, and the captain found himself itching for a new one. He lived his life on the battle field, and going without any fighting (or good opponents) for too long made him restless.
He swept the small beam of his flashlight around the room, not letting his guard down as he closed the door behind him and walked further into the room.
If there was some opponent hiding in this room, he'd find out soon enough. If there wasn't, it only meant he'd get to the basement faster. And whatever maggot hiding in said basement to fight.

Daemon slipped out into the large, empty corridor, pausing in the doorway for a long moment to sweep the beam of his flashlight up and down either direction to make sure the path was clear, before motioning for his brother to follow him. Turning to his right, he headed for the next hall, knowing that if their father was heading out anywhere this night, he would have to come through there first.

[Specifically outside M1]
Nope, no one here either.
Axel sighed loudly. It wasn’t like he wanted to frolic around with two dozen or so people scrambling about, but he didn’t want to become bait for anything that was hiding in the corners either. He didn’t have much of a choice in the matter, but someone was bound to crawl out of their rooms at some point.
It didn’t take long to reach the end of the hall, but he made no move to knock at Roy’s door. It looked like the guy was expecting a few visitors and he was pretty sure that he wasn’t one of them. Nah, all he had to do was wait for the rest of his teammates to arrive, drop off whatever they gathered up and off they’d go.
Leaning his weapon against the wall, Axel followed suit and nestled back against the hard surface.

Qui-Gon tested his senses. They were as good as could be expected in Landels, a bit improved with meditation, but nowhere near his level back on Naboo. He would just have to play it more cautiously than normal.
The Jedi Master was disturbed less by the piercing alarm earlier and more with Martin Landel's rant - the man's venom could be heard even over the crackle of the intercom and he hoped that whoever this Jill was, that she would be doubly careful, for it sounded like Landel was out for blood. Shaking his head, Qui-Gon gathered his things for another foray outside in the halls - his knife was retrieved from its hiding place and he checked the power source on the flashlight by flicking it on. The light was a bit weaker this time. Obviously Earthian power sources weren't very long-lasting, not be the standards he was used to.
Opening the door, Qui-Gon stepped out into the darkened hall and paused once more to extend his senses in the Force, doing as best a sweep as he could...

He headed left, moving towards the door that should, if the consistency of this place still held, lead out to the Recreational Field. Hopefully there wouldn't be anything in the way like there had been the night before. Or, if there was, that someone else would have it occupied so he could slip right past. That idiot... and those girls too probably would not be too happy if he ended up with any injuries before actually getting to the room.
