Nightshift 34: F1-10 Hallway
Okay... that was creepy, thought Sheena as she stared up at the intercom. She glanced around her room nervously, balled up pieces of discarded paper strewn all over the floor by her. The man sounded like a seriously screwed up Desian that liked to toy with people... like Kvar did. Shuddering, the guardian picked up the cards she'd made with an ink-stained hand and fanned them out.
Alright... not the greatest work she'd ever done, she had to admit, but only three of them felt a little off when she concentrated on them. A few smudges of ink shouldn't matter anyways. Fanning herself once, she then folded the cards back up and looked down at her inky hands. "Stupid pen. Why did it have to break so easily? I was just trying to figure out where the ink was, NOT get it all over me. I hope I don't have any on my face..."
If she did, she was certain Raine would point it out to her. As long as the half-elf didn't do that weird lick her thumb and wipe it off thing she'd seen her do to Genis more than enough times, Sheena would be fine. If not... well... she'd glare at Raine or something. Grabbing her flashlight and cards, Sheena lamented the lack of an obi as she left her room.
Now where was F18?

She glanced over at the shield and nodded. "That's it. It seems very impractical."
Re: Inside F9
He took a few steps closer to get a better look at the shield, then unslung the worthless sword from his back and set it down next to the shield. He pulled away a little of the sheets he'd wrapped it in; it certainly looked like the shield.
Re: Inside F9
Rangiku nodded in agreement. "Me too. At least there's a lot more room to dodge in there, or stick to the shadows if it comes to it." The Sun Room was a pain in the ass to get through when it was small enough to hear every footstep.
She peered over at the sword as renji unwrapped it, curious. "They certainly do seem to match. Probably a good job that they're meant to be keys and not weapons or protection." They looked ridiculously impractical when compared to a katana's simplicity.

Lucivar knocked on the door of F9 where Renji had told him they were meeting. He heard voices inside before he opened the door, grinning when he walked in and saw that they hadn't left yet. "Thanks for waiting," he smiled. "I was beginning to think that I'd have to follow your thread all the way to the basement."
Re: Inside F9
She reached for her sword when she heard the knock, not wanting to take any chances at the moment, but she relaxed when she saw the man and the way that he greeted Renji. She smiled warmly at him. "You must be Lucivar."

It took a little bit for the trio of girls to reach Rangiku's door. When they got there it was already open and there were a few people inside. For a moment Orihime expected to see Ichimaru come through the doorway but she kept her flashlight low to keep from blinding anyone and knocked on the door frame lightly. "Are we interrupting?"

"A door?" he snorted. "That doesn't sound too difficult."

The memory made her wish for home a little.
But Orihime had asked Ururu about her powers, and Ururu thought about it as they came to Rangiku's door. "A little, I guess. I'm pretty strong all the time but I get stronger when things are really bad." Or that's how Ururu thought it worked. Since the little girl didn't remember exactly how things went when things got really bad most of the time, she couldn't be sure. It seemed that way though.
Ururu, like Orihime, wanted to be sure that they wouldn't be interrupting before they came into the room. So she didn't go inside the door, but she did come beside the older girl. Ichimaru was friends with Rangiku, and even though he had behaved even when there weren't other shinigami around, Ururu was still scared. That made her more protective, but she didn't need to be, because Ichimaru wasn't there. Just Rangiku, Renji, and two people she didn't know, and who weren't shinigami.
"H-hello." The girl bowed slightly, knowing that it was polite.
