Night 73: Conference Room 1
[ from here ]
.... There it was. One of the pads they were looking for. Which meant the from here on out, they could start making some progress. .... Hopefully, anyway. It was probably too much to ask that it would send them somewhere useful right away.
"It's in here," he called out from the doorway, and approached the teleporter. He was eager to just step onto to it, but he had to wait so they could all use it at once—it would be problematic if they ended up in different places.

Except that this meeting room had a teleport pad in it. They really were going to end up bouncing all around the third floor, weren't they? Landel definitely didn't want them to get a clear idea of how this floor was laid out. Sora kept that other door -- the one that wouldn't budge -- in mind, though. What if that was the archive? Well, if it was, they were going to have to find another way in.
"Great," he said, following Tsurugi inside and then pausing near the glowing pad. "All together, right? Let's do a count down."

"One, two, three-" Link didn't hesitate. He stepped onto the portal, expecting Sora and Tsurugi to follow.

The room was a small meeting room, nothing whatsoever out of the ordinary. Except the glowing purple pad in the corner, that turned Lana's shadow into an impossibly thin, wavering alien life form, with Ryuuzaki a shambling, slouching creature behind her. "Let's see if the locations are random, shall we?" It would be the simplest way to improve security, given what had happened with the doors.

"Yes." When he was sure she was ready, he stepped onto the pad. They hadn't needed to take each other's hands before; they shouldn't need to now. The world would spin away regardless.

"Over here-" Korra was already making her way across the otherwise completely normal room, shining her light on the panel. She turned and waited for Tsubaki.
I SUCK AND AM FOREVER SLOW, I'M SORRY, I KILLED THE SUSPENSE. X(
Tsubaki was slower to enter, making a mental note of the room and its location before crossing the threshold to join Korra. Aside from the intimidating set of double doors, so far the third floor seemed perfectly normal.
Well, aside from the doors and the teleportation pads. She gave the new one a hesitant look. No telling where this one would lead.
"Do you want to try that one?" There might not be any going back if they did.
YOU DO NOT SUCK /AGGRESSIVELY HUGS
...Right?
