Nightshift 23: M11-M20 Hall
Gin sat quietly on the edge his bed, hands folded in his lap as the doors unlocked. The knives were still beneath his pillow, where he'd stuffed them before Naoe came in for dinner. He'd prefer the man didn't know he had them, but if Ran arrived before Naoe left, well, it wasn't that important.
He still didn't know if she was going to show up at all. He'd wait a few minutes, check and see if her spirit thread was getting any closer, if not... there were plenty of other things he could do tonight. Jack was reliable if nothing else and wouldn't be too difficult to find. The disembodied voice of the announcer was right though. It was possible, terribly likely in fact, that he was not on the grounds. That he was somewhere else entirely. It would help if he knew a little more about how their announcement system worked. Obviously the Head Doctor wasn't the only one who could use it.
Regardless, he had to focus his thoughts on the here and now and then proceed forward. He sat patiently, for now at least, waiting for his visitor.

Hisoka began walking the moment Tsuzuki returned and flicked on his flashlight. He wasn't one to enjoy being held up when there were things to be done and the sooner they got moving, the better.
This had nothing to do with the fact that they were in the dark. It didn't.It didn't take long for the boy to reach the next hall over and the boy frowned at the number of people also there as well. Hopefully none wished to stay and chat... They'd be sorely disappointed.

He glanced to Hisoka. "So...Which one is he?" Then as an after-thought, "Do you even know what he looks like?" If the guy had already left his room, they were going to have a horrible time finding him...

With that the boy slowly walked further into the hall, eyes glancing at the others there as well as he attempted to discern who they were supposed to meet.
Note to self, always ask for a damn name.

So, how exactly were they supposed to find a person that they didn't know and had never seen before? Tsuzuki was tempted to ask, but that would risk having Hisoka snap at him again. So, it was probably better to just keep quiet this time...

Stepping out of his room and practically tripping over an entire group of people had been an unpleasant shock. But they all seemed so preoccupied with each other that he eventually decided that whoever he was meeting, they probably weren't in the group; the group itself seemed to have its own agenda (he'd eavesdropped a bit) that had nothing to do with his.
Moving away from the group as much as he could without leaving the general vicinity of his room, Dias leaned against a wall and closed his eyes, trying to block out the voices around him as well as his lingering concern for Ashton. He had other things to worry about tonight.

To the boy, it appeared as if the man was waiting for someone. He wasn't wandering off away from the room exited from but neither was he trying to distance himself from the apparent noise, so... Hisoka sighed softly and, taking his chances, approached the man as soon as he closed his eyes.
"Waiting for someone?"

very tallperson who had just left his room. Was this the person they were supposed to meet? Tsuzuki had to bite his lip to keep from asking if the guy's hair color was natural. It was just...really weird. He'd never seen blue hair before... But he figured Hisoka would end up scolding him again for asking stupid questions, and he didn't need to be wasting time right now anyway.no subject
"I offered for someone to meet me here," he replied with a slight shrug. "Are either of you him?"
no subject
"To the file rooms, correct?"
no subject
But Tsuzuki didn't. This was Hisoka's rendezvous... He wasn't going to interrupt with idle chatter. He wasn't... At least not until they got moving again. Maybe.

"I'm Kurosaki Hisoka," the boy made a gesture to Tsuzuki. "He's Tsuzuki Asato. We're ready to leave whenever you are."
no subject
Tsuzuki nodded to Dias after Hisoka had introduced him and smiled. "Nice to meet you. Um, what's your name?"
no subject
Still, nothing much he could do about it. "Dias Flac," he said, nodding to both of them. "Let's get going."
Conversation was apparently not high on his priority list.
