F13 [CLINIC]

Raine was glad to have plans, but she really wished they didn't involve so much improvising. She'd barely had time to put up a note on that board that the clinic would be in her room, and she had no idea where it would be the next night, especially since the girl she'd been hoping to hear from had gone quiet. That was never good.

She needed to meet Hitsugaya soon, but because she never knew when she might get someone, when the doors unlocked she took a few minutes to set out the supplies she was most likely to need and update her lists on what was presumably still in M35. He would need time to get to their meeting place, and she wanted the clinic (no matter how temporary this location was) to be ready for after she got back.

To Scott's surprise, it seemed he was the first person at the meeting besides (presumably) Raine herself. He had been about to apologize for being late due to his injuries holding him up, but now there didn't really seem to be much need. "Hey," said Scott with a wave of his flashlight-holding hand, the other hand busy doing its best to keep a hold of his crutch. "I'm Scott Pilgrim. Uh, this is the Aide Society Meeting Thingy, right?" he asked hesitantly, the awkwardness from the hall before carrying over. Damn it, so Raine was a total hottie after all. Not that Scott was interested (well, much, anyway), but it kind of made him feel bad for having to turn down the anonymous matchmaker's efforts. He had to wonder why a girl like her would be single. Was she the Kim Pine type, he wondered?

"Sure thing," Scott answered, maneuvering himself over to sit on the bed after the other man entered the room. Wow, that sure was some Squeenix-inspired outfit he had on. Scott almost felt underdressed in his shirt, jeans and jacket combo. More importantly, it looked like he had brought some supplies for the clinic. That was great, Scott thought. That might mean he had a better chance of getting patched up quicker, depending on what kind of supplies they were.

After the man left, Scott looked back to Raine in awkward silence. "So, er . . . how's the whole clinc-ing thing going? I hadn't heard much about it until today," he asked when she was ready to talk again.

"Yeah, I barely caught it myself. Lucky I was in the Sun Room right before dinner. I might've been left sitting in my room going 'Ow, my shoulder hurts...' and pouting adorably for the rest of the night, otherwise," Scott said with a laugh. How Raine reacted to the joke would probably give him a pretty good indicator about how similar she was to Kim. If he got a totally unamused or deadpan kind of response, there might have been a separated-at-birth thing going on there.

Just after mentioning his shoulder, he set his crutch against the side of the bed and started to shrug off his jacket and roll up his left sleve so that Raine could see the bandages more clearly. "And oh, not much brings me here. Just your run-of-the-mill gunshot wounds, that's all. Nothing special." He finished rolling the sleeve and touched the bandage, wincing and hissing a bit for demonstrative effect. "Eeeee, yeah, it just kinda tore right through there. Lucky my arm still works at all," he added, showing Raine the way his hand could just barely grip. "One went across my right thigh as well. Not as deep, but enough to make putting weight on that leg pretty not fun."

[OOC: I don't know how healing much First Aid usually does. Hopefully this is okay?]

Ah, not really the joking type or the anti-humour type. She was just neutral. That wasn't the sort of person Scott ran into often, and so, Scott wasn't quite sure how to react to that. Thankfully, he didn't really have to as the spell was cast. "Oo, tingly." An "I am easily amused - what of it?" look crossed his face during the casting. In the back of his mind, he thought that the name of the spell sounded familiar. He was too focused on the tickling magic, however, to try remembering which exact game he might have remembered it from. Some random JRPG most likely.

When it was done, Scott tested out his arm and hand again. Just like that, the movement seemed better. It still wasn't totally up to snuff; his fingers still seemed a bit delayed in listening to him, and lifting his arm still felt like a bit of a chore. Still, compared to how it had been, he felt awesome, and said as much. "I'm awesome! Thanks a bunch! And yeah, if you think a brace might help even more, go ahead," he answered, giving Raine a somewhat weak, but at least recognizable thumbs-up with his right hand.

"Okie dokie," said Scott as Raine stepped out. He sat on the bed, waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Well, no, that was a lie. He wasn't really waiting all that long. Scott simply got bored easily when there were no video games, instruments, or other people around. He fidgeted on the bed, twiddling his fingers together. Eventually, he took out his flashlight and switched it on, swinging the beam back and forth across the walls. "Boooooooored."

By the time Raine returned, Scott had moved on to making shadow puppets of the Robot Masters on the wall with his good hand. They all looked like the exact same mess of fist and fingers to the untrained eye, but to Scott, the differences were obvious. The one he was working on was clearly Ice Man, while the one before had clearly been Elec Man. When he heard the door open, he jumped slightly in surprise, having gotten into the activity. "Oh, uh, heheh. Er, how was your thing?" he asked, switching the light back off and settling back down on the mattress.

Kratos knocked twice to announce his presence before opening the door and walking in. There was already a boy here, someone that Kratos couldn't pin as either healer or patient. Either way, he nodded briefly in the boy's direction before addressing Raine.

"I'm just here to deliver some supplies from Ritsuka." He held up the bag for her to take. "I'm not sure what they entail; I didn't get a chance to look through the bag before I came here." Raine looked like she was planning to head out soon herself; it seemed he had just caught her.

Kratos shook his head. "I haven't met up with him yet, but I'll mention you to him when I do see him." Hopefully, if Hitsugaya did have something for Raine, it would be a delivery that he could save for the next night; Kratos rather disliked playing delivery boy.

He glanced toward the only other occupant in the room. "In any case, I'll take my leave, since I see you have someone waiting."
