Raine didn't react at all to the joke; the last thing she wanted was her fan club being revived here. Still, she winced sympathetically when he mentioned being shot; she didn't like guns, and she could see the damage wasn't exactly minor. While he wouldn't die, if he wasn't healed he might suffer permanent nerve damage. She couldn't promise he wouldn't anyway, but she couldn't in good conscience just send him away.

"I can't heal you completely, but let's see what one spell does." She cast First Aid, then said, "How do you feel now? I can put you in a brace of some kind if that helps."
