"Okie dokie," said Scott as Raine stepped out. He sat on the bed, waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Well, no, that was a lie. He wasn't really waiting all that long. Scott simply got bored easily when there were no video games, instruments, or other people around. He fidgeted on the bed, twiddling his fingers together. Eventually, he took out his flashlight and switched it on, swinging the beam back and forth across the walls. "Boooooooored."
By the time Raine returned, Scott had moved on to making shadow puppets of the Robot Masters on the wall with his good hand. They all looked like the exact same mess of fist and fingers to the untrained eye, but to Scott, the differences were obvious. The one he was working on was clearly Ice Man, while the one before had clearly been Elec Man. When he heard the door open, he jumped slightly in surprise, having gotten into the activity. "Oh, uh, heheh. Er, how was your thing?" he asked, switching the light back off and settling back down on the mattress.
