Night 41: Recreational Field
[From here]
Just as in the hallways inside the building, the field looked completely deserted. von Karma saw not a single person nor creature upon it. Far to the northwest was his destination: an old supply shed that contained items that he would find marginally useful to defend himself -- at least until he could acquire something better. As much as he dreaded making that trek once again to that filthy, dusty old structure, he headed for it, keeping under the cover of the shadows of the main building. As he did so, he warily looked around for signs of potential danger, gripping his flashlight tightly in his hand in case of a sudden attack.

"Do we turn around?" he asked Leon in what was meant to be an anxious whisper. It came out a bit louder than that; he wasn't quite planning on grabbing his friend and running, but the monsters he'd been facing around Cresta in recent years had nothing on this thing.

Immediately, he began trying to think of ways to get out without attracting attention- immobilizing it out here seemed to be a bit of a stretch of the imagination, regardless, and Belphegor wasn't an expert on cars anyway. "Shelter, quickly." He murmurs, trying to think, to figure the situation out and take advantage of it- but nothing. "I'm not sure how fast that car can go, but it's bound to be able to outrun us in a heartbeat."
If he left them behind, maybe the time it would take to plow them over could ensure his safety? Belphegor filed that thought away as he stepped back once more, trying to see what the next move would be before doing anything too drastic.

Not worth it. Not even close to worth it. So, for the second time in much too short a time period, Leon ground his teeth in frustration and signalled for a retreat. "Back inside. Now."
[and back the way they came (http://community.livejournal.com/damned/630160.html?thread=54056080#t54056080)]

Lockdown revved his engine and steered towards the direction of that man.
