Nightshift 39: West Wing, South Hall 1-B
[From here]
Yukari peered up and down the hallway, deciding against shining her flashlight this way and that; she didn't particularly want to attract any monstrous attention. Mentally going over the maps, she tried to remember where she was going. Ritsuka had said M35, right? So that was the next block over... she'd have to go through the West Hall, but hopefully could get through without getting attacked her first night.
M35... why did that ring a bell?
Giving a shrug, the youkai headed on her way.

He searched up and down the hallway for familiar faces and shapes, then leaned against the wall. His sword felt so very re-assuring in his hand. He had a sword! Armand knew he'd have to be careful to keep from feeling over-confident about it. Where were his friends? Too much time had gone by for them not to have arrived, or so he thought. Well, he'd wait a few minutes himself and then try to follow where he thought they'd gone.

Ah, there was Armand. And, like Javert, he'd acquired a weapon. "Why does everyone have swords?" Trevelyan lamented. How was he to get a gun around here? Preferably an AK-47, though a P90 would be good because of its magazine capacity. Hell, he'd take a BB gun. He knew how to do some serious damage with one.

"I don't know about everyone else, but tis the sort of weapon I'm used to." It didn't take powder and ammunition either. Guns were effective but messy, in his opinion. He had never seen a modern gun in use, really.
"I am glad to see you. I hadn't thought I was so quick."
[OOC: Just gonna chitter until the others arrive]

"I might have to get one of those."

"We can wait a moment. Tis only fair." He looked up into Alec's face, trying to see in the gloom what the ex-spy thought of that, no matter what he said. Judging people was tricky. And he knew Alec was better than he pretended to be.

Alec looked impassively back at Armand and leaned against the wall. "Sure." But if he was here in this goddamn hallway all night, he was going to get pretty mad pretty quick.

"So a little bit more..." Armand tried to sound decisive. He strongly suspected he failed at that.

If so, the others could catch up...or they could catch up to TK and Uzuki. Either way, it worked.

Armand had to smile. "Like you, I think he would like some sort of firearm in his hands."

"There's the upstairs kitchen, and there's also the equipment shed, which has sports paraphernalia that could be useful...bats, and the like." The ex-00 flicked his flashlight's beam down the other end of the corridor. "Could be useful, unless we want to pick up some paprika in the kitchen and throw it in the monsters' eyes." Hey now. There was an idea...improvised pepper spray! A girl's move, to be sure, but there sure as hell was no glory in death.

"Shall we choose a course and go then?"

And if he could find a baseball bat, maybe some pads there, that could be helpful.
