Nightshift 36: West Wing, South Hall 2-B
[From here.]
The hall seemed deserted, with no one else up here yet. Elena wondered if everyone was outside or something, the way they'd tried to go that first night. But they had a mission to accomplish, and hopefully they could find what Rude was looking for.
"We should keep going, right?" she asked. "I don't think these rooms are right from the map..."

The going was slow. The monk kept behind Kenren. His legs were at least more responsive now though, instead of how they were back in the morgue. He could feel the ground beneath his feet, which was an improvement. Better than nothing at all.
Sanzo kept moving, leaning heavily on the wall for support. He wasn't about to collapse here. Not in front of Kenren. Not if he could help it.
Every few feet, the monk would pause, sucking in deep breaths. It felt like he'd just run several miles, rather than just one hallway.

He kept walking, keeping his pace as slow as he could without giving away the fact that he was walking slowly. He could hear Sanzo's breathing, harsher and more laboured than it should have been if he'd been in good health. He paused when they neared the end of the hallway, turning back to Sanzo slightly, although he kept most of his attention on the surroundings. "Where's your room?" he asked. That would be a better place to go he thought. He liked his skin in tact too much to suggest taking the priest to the clinic, and it was pretty sadistic to inflict Sanzo on the poor healers at the clinic anyway.

After a moment, it came back to him. His eyes opened.
"...M23." Sanzo finally said. He hadn't exactly been too open where his cell was with the other patients in general, but there wasn't any avoiding this. It wasn't as if he could go parrot that back at Homura anyway. The fucker already knew where his room was, and Sanzo wasn't in the mood to argue with Kenren about it. Kenren might've betrayed them by siding with Homura, but at least on this issue, it didn't have that much bearing. Not if Homura already knew.

"M23, right," Kenren said softly, returning to Sanzo's side once he was certain that the corridor was clear. "We'll take the staircase to the left, the one that comes out by the waiting room. It's closer to that block of rooms."
