Nightshift 35: West Wing, South Hall 1-B

Left led outside, further down the hall at least. Callisto reminded herself absently of this as she went the opposite direction. In the future she might see what all the fuss was about, but not now. The announcements only made her current target all the more interesting.

Guy only shook his head as Okita offered his thanks. Helping people like this was something he commonly had to do as a servant, and while he knew he should have been trying to avoid falling into that sort of position all the time, old habits died hard. Really, it was more like a favor for a friend, and he was glad to be a small help when Okita was obviously in need of it.

"Well, I can be patient," he said with a laugh in regards to the sword. "At least I have this," he said, lifting the meat cleaver for a moment. The fact that he would be attended to eventually was good enough for him. "And yeah, I'll be careful. I'll see you tomorrow." He reached forward to pat Okita's shoulder lightly with the hand that was holding his flashlight.

"Anyway, Ion's probably waiting for me, so I'd better get going." Pulling away and giving a quick wave, Guy turned and moved up the hallway.

Ion. He'd have to remember that name. Okita waved as Guy went off up to the next hallway and then leaned up against the door frame as soon as he was out of sight. The walk had been hard after all, now that he had time to think about it. His side ached a little, but it wasn't anything he couldn't push through, which was exactly what he did.

It was time to see if MOMO was still in her room.

MOMO's handiwork was simply amazing. Okita didn't feel any pain and only mild discomfort as he clipped along at a brisk pace. He hadn't waited for everything to heal, hoping not to put unnecessary strain on the girl, but he was certainly more than healed enough to deal with anything that came his way. Magic was incredibly useful.
