Nightshift 35: West Wing, South Hall 1-A

[Coming from here]

So they still had to deal with one of the brainwashed patients tonight; the rest were being carted off for experimentation. Something had changed in the routine. There'd been a pattern earlier, one night to those "trials", the others for the brain-washed patients. But tonight was different for some reason.

So what made it change?

Sanzo was suspicious of sudden change, mostly because it always signaled something was up.

Was it because of that "Jill" pissing Landel off? Or just pure whim?

Whatever the reason, it wouldn't do the patients any favors.

There was definitely fighting going on in this hallway. Matt had been too out of it to pay much attention before, but now that he was paying closer attention he realized he recognized at least one of the patients fighting. (What was with the fighting amongst each other tonight? Couldn't they all just get along?)

You'd better not go and get yourself killed, Himura. He continued to move, hoping there'd still be something of the red-head left the next day to bother about training.

Mello only glimpsed the shapes of human fighters before continuing quickly down the hallway. Violence between patients was either none of his concern or a sign of one of those brainwashing victims he'd witnessed with Sai, and if it was the latter, they needed to move the hell on.
