So they still had to deal with one of the brainwashed patients tonight; the rest were being carted off for experimentation. Something had changed in the routine. There'd been a pattern earlier, one night to those "trials", the others for the brain-washed patients. But tonight was different for some reason.

So what made it change?

Sanzo was suspicious of sudden change, mostly because it always signaled something was up.

Was it because of that "Jill" pissing Landel off? Or just pure whim?

Whatever the reason, it wouldn't do the patients any favors.

A well traveled hallway, this one. Sanji kept an eye out for Chopper (or even Nami) as they continued towards the door outside. With any luck, they'd run into the little reindeer along the way and everything would be all right.

"I hope he reads the note, if he does come by." Usopp worried a bit out loud. He already felt a little guilty that he'd warned Chopper about the monster nurses and then they hadn't even happened, but Chopper understood the Institute did things differently sometimes... right? Anyway, everyone would be happier in a world without nurses turning into monsters, so it was really a good thing. He just wasn't used to having his words be lies without actual intent.
