Nightshift 34: F21-30 Hallway
[F22]
SHE'D FALLEN ASLEEP?!?
Falis stood in the middle of her room STARING at her roommate's sleeping form. "No, no, no, no! This isn't fucking happening," the bounty hunter growled as her stare turned into a furious glare. "You need to get your ass out of this room tonight."
No response. Senna continued to sleep peacefully, unaware of the blonde with the barely contained rage focused on her. Granted, this was Falis' fault for not making it clear right away that the room was off-limits for the night, but even she didn't fall asleep that fast and that soundly. And certainly not when there was a very dangerous, very angry person practically standing over her.
Fuck.
Falis clenched and unclenched her hands a few times and then whirled around, her temper getting the better of her. She snatched her sword up off the bed and, pivoting, brought it down upon Senna. It was only the realization that her roommate's decapitated corpse laying in the room would probably completely turn Hokuto off that caused the bounty hunter to halt her blade a mere breath away from Senna's head. She stepped back and stared down at her roommate, occassionally raising her sword as if to slash down at the sleeping form again before lowering it.
She eventually started to pace as she waited, frustrated and upset, toeing that line of just letting her rage take her over and killing her roommate. How DARE she fall asleep?!? Falis paused in her pacing to lash out at Senna, only stopping herself partway through the stroke again. She shook her blade at the girl as she trembeled in contained rage.
Why TONIGHT????

She got up after a few seconds to grab the scalpel and map, then sat back down with nothing else to do but wait. Angel, she knew, would take a few minutes to get there, but what was taking Anya so long? Willow passed the scalpel from hand to hand in her lap, inexplicably impatient for their arrival.
Re: F23
As usual, Anya flung the door to Willow's room open with no warning and clattered inside with sword, flashlight, and map all being noisier and taking up more room than they had any right to.
"Good evening fellow Scooby! I am prepared for a night of daunting mayhem and victory in the face of overwhelming odds! I sincerely hope that at the end of this long, hard road to escape, there will be a solid meal cooked by a professional chef that I have never had sexual intercourse with!" She grinned enthusiastically at the other girl.
Then a thought occured to her. "If there's bacon, I'll share it with you," she said reassuringly, in case there had been any worry about that. After the suffering they had both gone through here, Anya felt Willow had earned herself a share of bacon.

She waited for a few seconds after the lights went out, figuring she should give Usagi a moment to get moving, then went next door...
And anything she might have said flew straight out of her head when she saw Falis pointing her sword at the other bed. "What--?!" was all she could manage as she ran in. A few steps in, she saw that the girl in the bed wasn't Usagi, but--what was going on?!
Re: [F22]
She really, really, really wanted to kill Senna right then.

Her inspection had been cut short, however, when a voice sounded through the room. The voice seemed to be coming from... another object. Some kind of magic, perhaps? It was just as likely as anything else that had happened. The voice was shortly followed by the door unlocking. Did that mean...?
She wasted no time in leaving the room and entering the hallway. She still remembered her promise to Gumshoe, of course, but... It would only be a short while. Whatever dangers he had been thinking of, she was sure she could avoid them if she stayed nearby. Besides... Elincia doubted she could pass up a chance to find a way out.

But Ururu knew Skuld would need hers, so there wasn't anything she could do. So with the nervousness of doing that wrong starting her night, Ururu waved goodbye to her roommate, then headed quickly to Shiki's room, not wanting the girl to have to wait too long.

Or perhaps an appearance from that insane man that could summon swords from thin air. One of his would do nicely. Celes didn't look back as she left for the evening, but paused to stop at the door. "Mion, if you have a wound that needs healing, tell me. I'll do it for you, worry not."

Luckily, a Black Widow Queen didn't fear the darkness and the unknown like a Landen might, so she was still passably confident, feeling her way down the hallway. She knew what Lucivar would say to her wandering around without a weapon, but Lucivar wasn't there at the moment, was he.

Yukari couldn't come up with any other way to describe what happened. It was nothing less of a huge, horrible mess that she never wanted to go through again. Unfortunately, she highly doubted that would be the last time it would. Thankfully, Diva didn't have the time to get very far with her, hrm... tantrum-- the nurses
in a massively handwaved fashioncaught wind of what was going on (somehow, and Yukari wondered why they never bothered before), stopping that complete freak of a... whatever she was, before things got even worse. Like, say, actually killing her like she intended to.Landel's voice was as creepy as always, once the time came, but Yukari found herself hardly caring. She only paid enough attention to realize the bulletin posts about going beyond the walls was in fact true, and that whole 'brainwashing' thing was happening tonight again. They would have to be careful.
She grabbed her flashlight and stuffed the maps rather haphazardly in a pocket, immediately exiting the room when she had the chance.
Outside her door, Yukari didn't quickly head off to her destination yet. If anything, she was still trying to gather her bearings, but all she wanted to do was just... find somewhere to collapse and not move, and not worry about all these stupid monsters, and escaping and risking her life and... Every night, this was getting entirely too frightening, and she never knew where to go or what to do afterwards. She didn't like spilling her feelings to others, and hated asking for help even more, but god, she needed someone right now. But who? This was a place full of strangers, and the young girl had no idea who to trust that much. And Ken... Well, the two were friends and teammates, but with issues of his own and several other factors, Yukari wouldn't bring herself to go to him.
Idiot, she berated herself, sighing deeply. It was like Argilla said earlier, you could only move forward and keep going. She had to be stronger than this, especially since Renamon would be waiting for her. They could do without her feeling so weak.
Before she could question herself even more, Yukari left her post, making her way down the hall.

Her badly gouged stick was salvageable, but she lost some length off the end of it as she leaned on it, breaking it to a point. Maybe the edge would prove worth it, in the long run, and she didn't have to attach another knife or weapon and risk losing that or take the time to try and carve the stupid thing with a box cutter.
Tucking her box cutter into her waistband, donning the tennis shoes borrowed from her 'other self,' then carrying flashlight in one hand and sharpened stick in the other, Seiya left her room feeling vaguely like a primitive hunter. That would be our luck--mammoths on the balcony.

Once Signum joined her out in the hallway, Momo nodded to her but remained leaning against the wall. "We are to explore the grounds outside the front door again," the shinigami said quietly, bitterness slipping into her voice.
She was tired of this game Martin Landel was making them play. Tired that the only progress they'd made as a group was either given to them on silver platter or rendered pointless. Momo did not like feeling like a mewling, toothless kitten searching for the next handout. She hated this place. How she missed Tobiume, the firebird's warm flames...
"Kratos will not be joining us, so it is just you and me. I ask for your patience, my friend; I suspect yours is at least as limited as my own. With the confirmed death of two last night, actual deaths and not just disappearances, I've decided the repair of my sword is imperative and have made arrangements with Skuld-dono. Unfortunately, due to her unique way of performing alchemy she has to repair my sword at the same time she is creating a weapon for another." Momo sighed in a small bit of frustration.
"So, the speed in which I can leave for the front doors is dependant upon the speed in which this Freyjador arrives."

This flaw, her impatience and the violent impulse behind it, she did not want for Hinamori to see, but strong as it was that meant she could show her very little at all.
She could only hope the person they were waiting on would come soon, and not just for the sake of her nerves or their mission or Momo's unfortunate sword. Waiting here, especially alone, was going to be awkward.

Well... tunics weren't exactly hard... she studied her bedsheets for a while, then figured why not. Yanking the flat sheet off, she sat down on the floor and started unraveling the stitches in the hem to make for easier access. All she had to do was rip it to size, poke holes in the shoulders to make a place to add ties, and she was done. For a couple of reasons, though, she wanted to be at least a little careful with it, so she took her time.
Re: [F30]
Momo simply nodded to Signum, a shadow of her typical smile given to her friend, then turned to knock on the door. She wasn't sure what Skuld looked like, so she didn't know what to expect.

[[From above.]]
Hokuto had to quickly glance into her room to check that Shion was gone; she was very, very grateful to see that she was. Not that she disliked the girl, but, well...
As tough as Falis was, she was still hurt, so being gentle was important. Hokuto slowly drew the other inside, then let go long enough to shut the door firmly and shove a chair under the doorknob. It would take someone really determined to get through that barricade.
That done, she went back to her girlfriend and pulled her close to kiss her. They were alone, and they had all night.
Re: [F21]
While the door was being secures, she swept her eyes over the room, trying to figure out which bed was Hokuto's. Whereas she didn't care if they ended up on her roommate's... the roommate might and Falis did care about not causing any extra problems for her girlfriend, especially with someone she was confined in a room with against her will.
"Mmmm," she hummed into the kiss, enjoying the closeness, before breaking it quicker than needed. "Let me put my sword down before I get too tempted..."

Instead the stupid woman in white had made her stay in her room all day, treating her like some kind of mother. Blech. Rhode could barely take that one Sheryl had chosen for his warped little family. Why couldn't they just have a normal Noah family anyway? However normal that was.
The moment she could, she burst out of her room and into the hallway, determined to make up for the ridiculous amount of time she'd just spent confined. Of course, she'd had the time to put her usual clothes on and in her tizzy to have some fun overlooked contacting Tyki. He wouldn't be fun, anyway.

Another night. How would this night be any different? Well, for one, Alice was there. What would the other girl think? Could she still use her sight? Frowning at the thought of being completely blind, Bella sat herself down on her bed and simply waited for her “posse” to show up.
Re: F24
The vampire arrived breathlessly, clutching his solitary, rusted pipe in one white-knuckled hand. His sibling wasn't here, nor could he detect any trace of her smell. He still worried, but with her grace she could easily side-swipe any amount of trouble. Nor could she be far - the female block was a single cell, rather than the multiple cells of male rooms.
"I'm here," he called out in greeting before opening the door to the room fluidly, staying by the doorframe with it standing open behind him. "Alice is coming, I think. Do you mind waiting?"

Awesome. Just as Winry agreed to a joint venture, the crazy voice from the intercom thing piped into the room, and the door's locking mechanism clicked open. The timing could not have been any more perfect.
"Sounds like that's our cue," she said, thumbing toward the exit. "Where were you hoping to find the people you're looking for?"

"Do you need weapons or anything?" She asked, before clicking her flashlight.
