No time was wasted in this short stretch of hallway. Link had run across all of Hyrule Field. This hospital was quite small in comparison.

Praying that he wouldn't come across anything to slow him down, Link turned into the main hallways.

Drew blood. Not enough. Need to drain him. Drain the patient. Charge. Slash. Bleed. The nurse didn't have any thougths more complicated than that as she cut in to Gumshoe's left arm. The murderous stream of consciousness was interrupted only by a leg coming into contact with her own, which sent the nurse crashing into the nearby wall. However, even that resulted only in thoughts of Minor setback. Get up, focus. Slash. Bleed.

She was kept from falling straight to the ground by said wall, and with enough jerky movements and shifting of weight, the nurse was soon back on her feet despite the kicked knee now jutting out in a very unnatural direction. Once she was stable, she would make its next lunge. What Gumshoe chose to do before that happened had to be very clever or very fast, or else he faced possibly getting gutted by the abomination in front of him.
