Night 51: M-C Block Hallway
[From here]
Now where had Knives said her room was? Scott reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the crumpled napkin she had written the number on at breakfast. F30. Okay. Assuming the girls' block worked the same way the guys' one did and wasn't some alternate dimensional maze that only people with boobs (twitch) would understand, Scott was pretty sure he could find the right room.

The hallway was empty when Edward entered; it was surprising to him considering there was always some small assortment of patients running around. Either way, he wasn't sticking around to see if there was a reason for the emptiness, so he followed the memorized pathway of the halls easily.

Another empty hallway. It could mean various things, but Scar didn't quite feel the need to worry about such things. Instead, he followed the familiar route towards the main hall.

Though the patient blocks were usually considered safe, it was hardly a reason to lower his guard. Tenzen briefly paused as he reached the hallway that followed, waiting for any signs of movement. Other than those coming from other connected hallways, there appeared to be none in the immediate area. It would seem he was either early or late, then. Hnn.

So he could spend the night searching more of the upstairs, as he had done with Gaara just yesterday, or he could ... find something else to do. It was a relief in itself just getting out of the room after being cooped up for most of the day, so he took his time walking through the block hallway. There was no rush here; all of the dangers he had ran into in the past had presented themselves in actual rooms, not the halls.
Not that he thought he was growing complacent. He just worked with what he knew to be true at the moment.
Minato eyed the bathroom as he passed, considering ducking in there long enough to get tissue paper. But seeing as he didn't really have decent pockets and it would be a hassle to get in and out of his wrapped-up bag, he continued on.
He'd survived worse with a cold.

Not too many patients were out yet, but that was fine. Niikura would bide his time until one of the larger halls, where patients were proven to congregate and where there had to be someone else who was interested in some good old-fashioned exploration.

"And I know it's inevitable considering this is ... well, you we're talking about, but since we're going monster hunting and whatnot, you have to promise me you are not going to go completely crazy," Bella told Edward with a stern look. "As in not protect yourself because you're too busy worrying over me."
"And another thing," she suddenly remembered, looking down at the ground as she bit her lip, "I know of where we can easily find something to kill, if that's what you two are so interested in. It'll work - I know it will. We just have to go into one of the bathrooms and wait."

A start. That was what he would pick up tonight. A handful of medications and the supplies to manipulate them to his liking. Even if he'd returned home, most of his old supplies - the most valuable things - would be gone anyway. It was all cinders and ash.
There was something pure, he supposed, about such a crude beginning, building upward once again from nothing.
Something pure, but nothing very new.

If her understanding of the patient block layout was correct (and from what looking around she had done, she was fairly certain it was), Elaine knew that M88 would be in the C Block ahead. Sure enough, moving into that block, it didn't take her long to follow the numbers and find the hall she was looking for. Hopefully, Geeste wouldn't have given up on her at this point. She did so hate being late for appointments.

As Ratigan stepped into the hallway, he noticed the sullen atmosphere that seemed to permeate the very foundation of the hospital. All things considered, this was most definitely not a normal hospital. He would have to be careful. Even as a human, his instincts told him that this was a very dangerous place.
"Basil, you little upstart..." Ratigan snarled, "Was killing me as a mouse not enough for you?"
Still gritting his teeth, Ratigan continued through the hallway, trying to find...something.

The familiarity of the hall made it feel almost like Oliver was going around in circles. It wasn't just that he'd been there only the other night; the hallway was almost identical to the one he'd started the night in. A glance down one of the halls of rooms branching off to the right assured him otherwise, however, and confirmed his assumption that this was in the general vicinity of where he wanted to be.
He headed down toward the end of the hall, pausing at each offshoot to check the numbers. While he hadn't really been out that long, he was already feeling a little like he was chasing his tail. Overshooting would just be aggravating.

Slow and steady his pace may have been when coming to the vampire's chambers, but the moment he was out the door it had turned determined, almost rushed. It was foolish to trust an unknown source so quickly, but what other choice was there? He didn't have the time and leisure he may have had in the Guild to fully look into this strange new information. As it were, if Landel didn't wish for him to see something? He was going to see it. They could fully count on that by now.
He could feel the wounds at his side stretching, pulsing with unpleasant heat as he kept moving forward. He turned his head slightly, finally relenting and checking for the other two behind him. He had made a promise, after all. He didn't have the heart to break it.
"Are you two okay?"

Yuusei only had a vague idea of where he was going. The note he'd seen the previous day had said to head northeast to reach the room where the patients' possessions were held, and though he had doubts that it would honestly be that easy, that small bit of information was all he had to go on for the moment. The halls were still; the majority of the patients - so Yuusei assumed - were either sleeping or conducting their business in other parts of the building. He sighed quietly through his nose, making his way towards the door.

Like times passed, Nigredo hadn't the slightest clue on direction and motive. The problems of roommates and awkward timing faded from the forefront of his memories, and without a direction forward nor back, it seemed no different than being made to walk in one's sleep. There was no reason, nothing to call close to an end goal. The child would merely keep his indifference and move as habit dictated.
Perhaps Nigredo would find a familiar body. Perhaps he wouldn't and fall into harm. It didn't matter either way.

"Oh yeah, and I had a visitor," Guybrush continued as he followed Morgan into the next hallway, a shudder already running through him as they neared the bathroom. "It was definitely Stan, but this weird doppelganger version of him that's an attorney for the guy I'm supposed to be, according to the nurses. Apparently, Brian Moriarty- A.K.A. yours truly- has some issues with stalking and kleptomania." He shook his head at the thought. What outrageous allegations would the institution staff come up with next?
They were near the hall with his room- he considered claiming he'd left something behind and would run and get it while she fetched the pipes, but he had a feeling that wouldn't fly, given her earlier attitude. He was just going to have to face his fears. It hadn't worked so well earlier, but this was round two.

As they entered the hall for the last male patient block (which had to be the most frustrating one to be roomed in, he now realized), Guy counted the numbers in his head as he tried to determined which hallway M87 would be located in.
It didn't take him too long to do the mental math, and so he turned to Claude with a hand on his hip, pointing down the empty hall with his flashlight beam. "If I'm right" -- and he was pretty sure he was, but he was too modest to say so -- "it should be the one at the very end of the hall."
He didn't waste any time, but just kept walking, figuring that Claude would speak up if he thought he'd made a mistake.
