Night 47: F-A Block Hallway
( from here. )
One thing Kairi couldn't help but admit was that her room now was a lot closer to the door than her old one was. It was practically a hop, skip, and a jump away! Not bad at all.
... Not that she was lazy or anything. She wasn't the lazy one of the group. Certainly not.
Either way, Kairi continued down the hallway and out the door with ease, careful to watch her step.

The hallway was once again empty as Tifa walked away from the helpful group of women behind her. The light of her flashlight jiggled up and down with the rhythm of her brisk steps as she headed for the end of the corridor, hoping this whole get-drunk-and-stumble around-looking-for-Cloud thing didn't take too long.
A dark figure began to form in front of her, and once her light grew close enough to shine over the person's feet, Tifa lifted the light across the foreign body and up to settle on--Oh! She knew that hair!
"Hey, Chocoboy!" The brunette called, being mindful to bring her flashlight down so he didn't blind her friend. "Well that was easy..." She continued calmly, ignoring the sudden rhythm her heart had picked up. "I thought I was gonna be searching all night for you..."

Problem was, the timing was terrible. He needed to get moving. Others were probably already coming across Luke wherever he'd been stationed for the night, and even if he still didn't know what he was going to do exactly, he was hoping he'd figure something out when he got there.
"Tifa!" Cloud tried a weak smile, but it didn't hold. "Fancy meeting you here." He wanted to turn her away, as well, because he knew she'd insist on going with him wherever he headed off to. None of his friends knew how to keep themselves out of danger.
Well. Maybe it was best just to spill everything from the start in this case. "Look, my roommate's most likely been brainwashed for the night and I need to find out where he is. Coming with me?"
He'd talk as they moved, maybe.

"This world just keeps getting smaller, huh?" Tifa's smile grew soft while she took the opportunity to assess Cloud as he continued to talk. He didn't seem any worse for the wear. And with that one thought began a heavy flow of questions in her mind concerning how he got here. And if it had been Tifa's fault.
"Roommate?" The slight surprise that lifted her thin brow and puckered her lips into a soft O was hard to rub off. Cloud made it sound like it was a daily thing, like, no big deal to have a patient brainwashed or anything. But her mood rose soon enough when he asked her to join him. "Yep! Someone has to watch your back..." Catching up with Rude had become a fleeting thought now that she had found what she was looking for. Taking position beside Cloud, the young brunette looked up at her friend, ready to follow his lead. "So what's the plan?"

"I'll, uh... tell you when I have one." If he ever figured one out, that was. "I don't really know how this works. Don't think we can break him out of it, but if we can keep him from hurting others... maybe keep others out of whatever area he's in..." Luke would appreciate it, he knew. He couldn't just let the kid hurt others against his will if there was anything at all he could do to stop him."
He glanced back over his shoulder. "When did you get here, anyway?"

Hands clasped together behind her back, Tifa walked a step behind Cloud, if for no other reason than the fact that she wasn't a very viable candidate for discussing the possible locations this kid could be wandering around. But even without a plan, she was confident Cloud had better intuition in this circumstance. She had only been here for barely a day, he--well, she was assuming he had been here at least since yesterday. And the fact that her friend seemed rather experienced in these brainwashings, or maybe heard of them, was all reason enough for her.
"Okay..." Maybe the brunette could just sit on his roommate once they subdued him. Oh! She was good at pile drivers too. That shit will set anyone straight.
"Just this morning, actually..." Tifa met Cloud's eyes for that brief moment. "You've been here a little longer right? Rude hinted at that; you had posted on some bulletin system the other day..." Tifa wasn't exactly sure what Rude had meant by a bulletin, but it wasn't the time to question every little thing right now, she needed to help Cloud, so her questions could wait.

"Just a couple days." He assumed by the way she said 'bulletin system' that she hadn't yet seen the board itself. That wasn't a problem. He'd point it out when they reached the sun room, granted he had the opportunity. It might end up being too dangerous for something like that.
