Night 47: F-A Block Hallway
( from here. )
One thing Kairi couldn't help but admit was that her room now was a lot closer to the door than her old one was. It was practically a hop, skip, and a jump away! Not bad at all.
... Not that she was lazy or anything. She wasn't the lazy one of the group. Certainly not.
Either way, Kairi continued down the hallway and out the door with ease, careful to watch her step.

Much as she hated how incomplete the outfit was, being in her familiar heels was kind of a relief. At least she wouldn't trip or anything stupid, like last night. She could kick properly in these, too. Mele was just waiting for the fall-out. Unless the lack of arm guards was the messing around part, but Mele wasn't exactly going to put any faith in Landel's goodwill.
Or maybe this overthinking was the mindmash part. Pfft, if that was the case, there was no sense in not being cautious. Mindbreaking nonsense wasn't ever going to change that.
Mele reached the end of the corridor and shine the flashlight both ways before proceeding.
