Night 46: West Wing, South Hall 1-B
[from here]
Once out of the female block, Momo hesitated, unsure what she wanted to do. She'd left her room without a thought, her body automatically following the same motions she did every night once she'd secured Laevatein back in its hiding place in her room. She was feeling more comfortable with the broadsword, but there was only so much she could do with it while it was in its current state and she had no one to formally teach her. Celes' tips were certainly appreciated, but Momo was unwilling to ask the general for lessons, feeling as if she'd be imposing. She would just have to adapt her own style.
After a moment of thought, the shinigami headed to the left. She'd only had two options, really. She could have headed to the right and helped with the M-U rescue, but pacing that hallway while waiting for someone to be released from their torture was not something she wanted to do. Instead, she started toward the outside of the Institute.

Because neither of them insisted on wasting time, it wasn't long before they finally reached their first destination. Even now Sync could make out a redheaded figure standing outside the F-Block, and upon closer inspection it happened to be none other than Dahlia.
It didn't take long to reach the woman, offering her a tired smile.
"Sorry I kept you waiting, Linda," He began, walking right up to her.
"I hope you don't mind having some extra company." Of course, his disdain was apparent as he rolled his eyes slightly, doing so at an angle where only Dahlia could see it.

"You?" Rolo blinked. The girl he spoke to at breakfast? That 'friend' who was brainwashed didn't happen to be this kid, did it? That did explain why he was acting so different, at least.
He didn't like this at all. That girl, he didn't think much of her. It turned out that this impression was mistaken; if she was with this guy, then it wasn't good at all. He was going to have to be careful.

"M-me?" This ungrateful little pipsqueak?! She had enough of him during breakfast. If he expected her to tell him anything more about things she didn't have the first clue about, she was feeding him to something, what Sync wanted be damned.
Tch. The one person who knew who she was and she couldn't even act it with this idiot tagging along.
But if there was an act to be done, never let be said Dahlia wouldn't do it. Like the sweet little girl she was, Rolo was put in the backburner and all her attention went to her best friend! She made her way to his side, hands ghosting over all his little boo-boos with tears in her eyes. "Stephy, are you okay?! What happened?!" And hadn't she been there to watch? What a waste.

If anything, the God-General thought it'd be fun messing around with some fresh meat. After all, if something went wrong then he could always just kill the bastard.
"In fact, he's the one that found me," Sync admitted sheepishly, offering the other teen a small smile. Yet that sincere smile disappeared within seconds, replaced with a rather dirty smirk as he continued in a casual manner.
"Except he said he wouldn't mind finishing the job, so I thought it'd be fun to have him tag along," Turning away from the brunet, Sync grinned at Dahlia. "What do you think, Linda?"

On the other hand, they were making it fairly obvious. If they tried to attack him, maybe he could disable them first and get their weapon. Maybe his Geass would work for once. The mere thought brought an ache to his chest, reminding him that it probably wasn't a good idea to try in this place. Shit.
"... I don't care what she thinks. Let's just go," Rolo grumbled, regarding the two with more than enough suspicion to let them know that he knew what they were up to. Why the hell was he even bothering with this? It was like some cosmic puppetmaster was pulling his strings and making him act stupider than usual.

Gasp! "He did?!" Dahlia's hands immediately flew up to her face and she pressed her fingers against her cheeks - the perfect picture of shock. "How awful!" Why would Rolly say such a thing?! She thought he was a little careless and cold, maybe, but never cruel! Where did this come from?!
But a shield was a shield. So whatever. Dahlia didn't care.
As cheery as her voice was, the ever-present smile turned into an uncaring scowl for a split-second. So he already knew about them? Great. Someone else she'd have to kill. She offered her arm to Sync for him to wrap his around, if just for the show (or to pick him up later and stab that moron in the back of the head with his pointy little feet. Either would do. Jeez, why didn't the kid have a crutch or something more useful?). "Come on, Stephy. Maybe he can help us get to the chemical storage."

"He doesn't know where it is," The God-General pointed out shamelessly. After all, it was the truth, and he wasn't going to give him any unnecessary credit. "I just brought him for entertainment."
That and to act as monster bait if the opportunity ever sprung up, but that was obvious. However, he didn't want to use up any more of his time lingering around the hallway, and so the replica gently coaxed the redhead to follow him as he began to walk.
"Come on. The chemical storage is on the second floor but it shouldn't take too long to get there."

Where else could he go? Lelouch warned him about this place, how he needed a map, weapons, more information in general that his brother had time (or was willing to, but Rolo would never admit that) to give him. It was dangerous to go alone and dangerous to go with them. On the other hand, it wasn't like Rolo's track record with groups was any good. Maybe going alone would be more beneficial.
On the other hand, it wasn't like Rolo was completely unaware of the danger those two were posing. The fact they were flaunting it meant that they didn't think much of him at all. As much as Rolo hated it, all that meant was that he had to prove them wrong? If this 'chemical storage' actually existed...
Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Rolo let them walk on for a moment before finally making up his mind. He had promised "Stephy" he would finish the job, right?
Rolo kept his promises.

Tch. She'd say he was useless, but no body was useless in a place like this. They were all just quaint little shields for her to use eventually.
"Upstairs...?" Okay. So long as she had her friends with her, she'd be okay! She knew they could work together.
