Night 43: F21-30 Hall
[in F22]
Falis was sitting on Senna's bed, her back to the wall with the shinigami laying against her, when the weird intercom thingie went off. She looked up at the little box for a moment before frowning. What the fuck had that been? Damnit! Where was Dominikov when she needed him to figure shit like this out for her?
A sharp pain ran through the hunter's left arm accompanied by a searing heat she recognized from the night before. It seemed peoples' fears were going to be true this night. Taking a peak at the flesh underneath her bandage, Falis grimaced seeing the decay return and it work its way up to her shoulder. At least it stopped there, but she wasn't sure it'd stay stopped all night long.
Her eyes slid back to the sleeping shinigami. Falis licked her lips. Damn, she looked and smelled... No. She was not going to do this. She was stronger that whatever fucked up zombie sickness. Senna was important to the hunter. She may be Falis' prey, but not prey like this. Resisting the hunger that lay in her stomach, she idly combed her finger through Senna's hair as she rest her head back against the wall and waited for people to show up or for the shinigami to wake.

F25
No sooner had the intercom started than the pain in the back of her arm came back with a vengeance. Yeah. That pain.
Oh, god fucking dammit. Was the odd hunger back again? Yes, it was. Was her roommate now in immediate danger? Yes, she was. And the impotent fruit cup she was set to meet tonight was probably also in danger, so if he didn't do anything like hug her or hoist her over his shoulder for some ungodly reason, he'd be fine, but... she'd definitely have to keep her distance because now she was a zombie again.
Hmmmph, like she'd even think about getting close to that guy in the first place!
"Gottagoseeyalaterbye," Alkaid mumbled with no hint of explanation as she gathered her cracked wooden bat and her flashlight and ran like hell out that door and down that hallway. No one was in the immediate hallway yet, but she could hear people down the hall, and damn, the urge to hunt them down was kinda sharp...

Re: F25
She didn't get much of a chance to say "goodbye" to Alkaid, considering that she was gone pretty quickly. Whatever she had said though... she was right. The lights went off. If it weren't for the intercom, Alkaid leaving, and being able to hear some people out in the hallway, she would have thought that it was a pretty normal 'lights out' sort of thing. How many people had actually left their rooms? She couldn't help but wonder that as she gathered up a journal, some pencils, and the flashlight that Alkaid had directed her to.
Once she gathered everything together, all she could do was wait. If there were all those people in the hallways outside the room, that meant that Setsuna had been able to get out as well. She hoped it wouldn't take him to long.

He glanced at the label on the door: F25, the room number Feldt had provided him with via the bulletin board.
Without the least bit of hesitation, he turned the knob and swung the door open, pointing the flashlight inside.
He spotted her sitting on one of the beds. "Feldt Grace."

Tonight of all nights, Franziska was busy - and she had to get the evidence needed before her father showed up. It would be disastrous to the case if it were allowed to be taken back, or worse, if her father insisted upon examining it himself. Turning on her flashlight, she moved down the hall, walking as fast as she could.
Re: F23
Re: F23
And back to where she had started. Franziska opened the door and stalked in, looking around the room once before going over to her closet and setting the wrapped bat down inside. It would be best to hide it, but she had little to hide it with. The idea of dropping the jacket on top of it was weak to say the least, and she knew it would simply be too obvious. Franziska von Karma did not leave things lying about.
But now the thing was mostly hidden and she had things she needed to do. Opening her desk drawer, she pulled out the roll of pens and removed five of them. The ink in just one should be enough, but she wanted to be certain. Pulling her journal out from her waistband, she clipped the pens in a neat row, each spaced a perfect three centimeters apart, onto the cover and then took a deep breath. She wished she had a small dish to put the ink in, but for now, she'd have to make due. With that finished, Franziska grabbed her flashlight again, adjusted the leash over her shoulder, and left the room without a word.

to F22
Almost there. If their room was F22, it should be right across from her back wall, the second-to-last room from the end. Meche found it pretty easily, but she hung back outside the door for a minute, flexing her foot back and forth to test how the bite on her ankle was doing. It still hurt a little when she moved around, but she thought the wound probably wouldn't open up as long as she was careful. Fortunately, the ankle strap of her heel cut just above it, on top of the bandages. The pumps might not be a traditional choice for fighting lessons, but she thought she'd better learn in what she was going to use. Tonight just felt destined to be a strange one all around.
Well, Meche decided, this was probably as ready as she was ever going to get to become a warrior cavewoman. She knocked.
F22
"Oi! Come in," she called to the person on the other side, fingertips now lightly rubbing the back of Senna's neck. Maybe if she kept her mind focused on something other than how good the shinigami smelled, she'd be okay.
No, she'd make herself be okay. Fucking zombies.
Re: F22
She closed the door behind her and stayed standing pretty close to it, although Alita didn't strike her as the kind of person who'd never forgive her for sitting down without being asked. "Should we go somewhere else?" she asked, gesturing to Senna. They couldn't go back to her room if Donna really was taking the night off in there, but the hallway might be all right. Almost everyone would probably be out before too long.

Outside F30
"F30, right?" Yuffie was holding more stuff than him, with that giant. . . shuriken. . . thing, so Suzaku took it upon himself to knock on the door. If the occupants hadn't already heard them, what with all the clattering of the pipes when he shifted more of them to one arm.
Outside F30
With Suzaku waddling alongside, the short skip to F30 was just that; short. And uneventful to the extreme. "If Team Awesomesauce didn't get codenames," she said, "it wouldn't be as awesome. We'd just be plain old Team Sauce, and nobody wants that. Of course we get them." It was a shame she couldn't break out the gymnastics to spice things up a little…
She came to a stop, half a pace behind him and to the left. "This is the one," she confirmed. Good thing Suzaku was gonna knock; with her arms and hands as full as they were, forget a polite rap of the knuckles -- she'd have been headbutting it.
F30
Skuld had managed to calm down since her visitor, at least a little; she was still on edge, but fighting not to show it. She had the arrays she needed all set up, and jumped up as soon as she heard someone outside her door. "Good evening," she said, trying to simply sound courteous. "Please come in."
At least she had something to do tonight even after they left; opening her closet had revealed some stuff she was pretty sure she hadn't put in there. Ururu's? Maybe... it wasn't much in total, but she really needed to figure out what to do with the extra weapons she suddenly had on hand.

Outside F29
Mitsuru didn't want to waste too much time looking for the right number, or disturb anyone by having the wrong room, so she wondered as she knocked lightly on the door to F29 whether or not she had the correct room. The short distance to this hall had gone over without incident, but there was no telling what else might show up, especially since she at least thought she'd seen something. "Takeba, are you there?" she called out, keeping an eye on her surroundings.
Re: Outside F29
Then again, may as well add it to the pile of things gone wrong. She'd be more surprised if something went right.
Before she could collect all her things for the night so she could head off to find Junpei, there was a knock on her door, followed by... Yeah, that was Mitsuru's voice all right. Surprised and somewhat puzzled by the unexpected arrival, Yukari went to quickly open the door to her room.
The confusion showed on her face, even after opening it. "Senpai? Did you need something?"
Re: Outside F29
"My apologies for stopping by unannounced. I wanted to return this to you." Mitsuru held out the Evoker, and almost as an afterthought added, "Also, do you have any insight into what's been going on lately? Everything seems to have either started or ended oddly since the night before last. Has anything like it happened before?"
F22
The girl went back to her desk with the almost finished food, stealing Falis' chair and pulling it over for Soma. Senna sat, fork in hand; one leg pulled up to her chest. "So," she started, friendly tone like earlier in the day had never happened. "How are you doing?"
Re: F22
"All right," she said. She was a terrible liar, but there was no point in inflicting her own problems on everyone else. She was sure Senna had enough to worry about as it was.
Re: F22
Senna offered another smile, tilting her head. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but I'd like to hear." Was it the zombie thing or something else? She couldn't tell.

When the intercom went off again (and what the heck had happened to it?), the teen finally stood. It may have only been on account of the malfunctioning, but it sounded ten times creepier than any of the others. She didn't want to stand around and think about that though. She was anxious to get back to Kurt, even if she wasn't looking forward to having to test out her phasing ability. Which... should probably be sooner rather than later. If there were monsters out there now, Kitty didn't want to wait until she saw one to test it out.
Trying to calm her jumbled nerves, she moved closer to the desk. This was going to be easy; no problem at all. All she had to do was put a hand on the desktop and -- nearly fall through it when her hand easily passed through. The overwhelming feeling of relief that her powers remained intact overrode any embarrassment she would've normally felt over the near-fall. The dizziness that came afterwards was a little puzzling, but Kitty decided to attribute that to her nerves. Okay, note to self: Don't try so hard next time.
Even as the thought crossed her mind, Kitty couldn't keep the grin off her face. It may not have been much in the long run, considering everything else with this place, but it was nice to know that something was still normal.
Grabbing up her flashlight, she headed out the door, feeling a lot better than she had all day. Now that she knew she could still phase, all that was left was to meet up with Kurt and Kon.

Though Kuukaku had copied the maps from the board, she still wanted to explore this place properly. And perhaps find some interesting stuff no one else bothered to take while she was at it.
When she heard the doors unlock, she grabbed her things and stepped outside into the hallway.
