Night 43: West Wing, South Hall 1-B

Something didn't feel quite right about the building as Beatrix stepped out into the hallway. Moving to the left, she put her back against the wall to wait for Wonka to arrive. She wasn't sure what didn't feel right about it, but her instincts were warning her to expect more of the unexpected and to trust what she felt, not her eyes.

A flicker of movement out of the corner of her eyes, yet nothing was there. Her eyes narrowed. Yes, something wasn't quite right.

"You bet!" Loz replied excitedly. "My roommate even told me that sometimes people here are taken and brainwashed into fighting others." He still wished he could run into one of those, just because they sounded like they'd be fun to play with.

"Yeah, Renamon told me 'bout that too. Didn' know why it happens, though." That was another thing that got on his nerves about this place. Apparently it wasn't enough to stuff people in here and tell them they were crazy, they had to do all this other crap to them, too!

"Yeah, Tem didn't know either," Loz was pretty thankful that everyone he'd met so far had been quite nice and willing to tell him everything about this place. "Everyone here seems so helpful and nice. What about you, you meet any nice people today?"

"Uh... Met this one jerk named Lockdown. An' my roommate's kinda weird, but he'd only jus' got here right before they locked us in again." With Heat, it'd kind of made sense why he was so worked up. Lockdown was just mean.

"Lockdown, huh? That's a weird name," Though if he was being a jerk to Beelzemon, then the guy should start hoping that he and Loz never encountered each other. "Yeah, the guy we're meeting apparenly just got here, like us. He seems nice, but he sure talks funny."

"Yeah, he said he wasn' human, but human names sound weird ta me anyway." Things probably got confusing when there was more than one Digimon of the same type around, but everyone got along fine without having to make up names for themselves. You knew what you were, and that was it! "Well, we can all help each other out, then!" It didn't matter if they were all newbies or not, things would work out, he was sure of that.

"Not human, huh? I guess that makes sense then," Loz mused. Then again, 'Lockdown' sounded more like a name for a fancy weapon than a person.

"That's right," Loz agreed, grinning. "This is gonna work out great, I just know it!"
