Soubi was certain he knew the way now. He'd come along here with Ritsuka, alone....teasing the boy with that can. Oh yes. He'd enjoyed that, though they'd had discussions about things Soubi would rather have hidden from. But you can't win them all.

Finding the door, he gave the handle a twist and a push but, like last time, it was a job for his shoulder. He stepped back before forcing his weight into it. The door opened and he shone the light in from the torch, checking for monsters.

Sora had been more than ready to allow Allen and the nice man to take their turn on the door, but he blinked in bewilderment when the stranger started to give them a lesson on how this was done. If the man had been using a more condescending tone, it might have annoyed Sora, but instead he made sure to pay attention, if only out of courtesy.

He knew how to kick doors, after all! He'd tried that method before, but as far as he could tell, it took a few hits no matter what way you went about it. On the other hand, the man did have a point, and so he nodded thankfully to the stranger to indicate that he'd listened.

After those two kicks, it looked like the door was almost done for, and so Sora glanced to Allen with an encouraging smile. "Want to finish it off?"

The second stranger was a bit more withdrawn, but it looked like he just wanted to make sure they didn't get ambushed or anything like that. That was fine - someone had to keep a lookout, after all. While Sora also thought they should go through introductions at some point, opening the door was top priority.

Allen did have to wonder why the older gentleman was taking time to teach them how to break down doors. He'd done it a few times before, and back home it really wasn't even worth worrying about! The man did seem nice enough though, so Allen didn't want to seem unappreciative.

"Oh, yes, thank you sir," he nodded at the explanation and with Sora's offer to let him finish things, he supposed he ought to hurry and get on with it. No use keeping everyone waiting.
