Night 37: M11-20 Hallway
[From here, roundabouts M16]
Celes tapped her foot and as she tried for the life of her to remember just where the Gambler resided. Hellfire, she should have gotten a straight answer from him. But then, it would have meant she'd also asked. Celes sighed and shook her hair from her eyes, adjusting her hair clasp. She walked for a bit, up and down the halls, listening for voices that were familiar. When the first hallway bore no fruit, Celes turned to the next one.
Halfway down, she heard the familiar accent of Luxord's voice through the door. There was still plenty of time to meet her subordinate, she'd been quick tonight. Celes rapped on the door three times and waited. "Master Luxord? Are you within?"

Re: M11
Ken's extra shirt was duly slaughtered for bandages. Mental note: go get actual medical supplies if he was going to be playing impromptu field medic. "How healed is 'healed'? Any chance it's gonna come open again if you move wrong in your sleep?"
Re: M11
The packages of food went onto the desk as he gratefully accepted the pills and water, carefully lowering himself to sit on the bed. "Oh, I think it'll be all right. I don't toss much in my sleep anyway." He smiled cheerfully enough, even if there was still a bit of tension at the corners of his eyes from the pain. "It's not that bad, really - I've probably had worse after a particularly rough soccer game." It wasn't entirely a lie, though he'd certainly never had all the injuries at once before. "But thank you again, Ken-san, I appreciate your help."
Re: M11
"We should have some time out on the rec field comin' up. We should play, if you're feelin' up to it."
Re: M11
Injuries did heal much faster here, after all. It could be entirely true. His grin brightened a bit at the offer, though, and he nodded. "I'd love to. I haven't played since...back home." The brief pause indicated he'd started to say something else and changed his mind, but his expression didn't alter at all.
Re: M11
Ken shrugged off the odd pause. "I haven't played in a while either. Keep on tryin' to get a game going, and it never gets anywhere." But that was something to be worried about in the morning. "Get some rest. I'll put your stuff away so it doesn't pull a vanishing act in the morning."
Re: M11
Those cookies were important, after all. He'd been lucky enough to land practically on top of them, and he didn't want to lose them now. But Yukito just grinned a little and closed his eyes, trying to relax as much as he could. "Let me know if there's anything I can ever do for you, okay?"
Re: M11
"For now, just rest. 'Don't get killed' is about the top item on my 'what you can do for me' list."
Re: M11
He sighed quietly and carefully pulled up the blanket without opening his eyes. "But you be careful too. Okay? It's not like I have a lot of friends here..."
