Nightshift 33: Disciplinary Therapy Room 4 (M-U for Shadow)
The doctor stood, face and head covered in a surgical mask and cap, looming over the prone form strapped to the stretcher. He was a pretty thing, young, strong. And about to be broken.
He enjoyed it when there was such an easy way in. It would be a simple matter, and so entertaining. Bringing the proud down a few pegs, reminding these dogs of their place. They needed a kick now and again.
He smiled behind his mask and waited for his 'patient' to wake up.

There was still Shadow in there, underneath it, looking out but unable to break the conditioning.
"I believe that may have it...."

Shadow bowed his head, blinking slowly. "My Lord," he said, his voice almost wooden as it lacked any real emotion.

"Now you are as you always should have been."

"And how are we feeling, hmm?"

"Tired, my lord," Shadow replied, his eyes cast downward. "I fear that there is something wrong with my nose. I am in quite a bit of pain but if my master wishes it to remain so then I will be happy to keep it that way."

"I'm sure someone will be along for you soon. Remain where you are for now. I will be monitoring your progress."

And there was still the worry that Lord Dyran was lurking, waiting to strike and hurt Valyn...
He was free to move and he tried to force his body to listen to him but a stranger was in control. The stranger nodded his head and sat up, his head throbbing from the beating he had taken from Dyran's hands. "I will do as my Master wishes," the stranger murmured in Shadow's voice and he kept his head down, looking at the too-white floor of the room.
