Nightshift 32: F-A block hallway

[ from here ]

Shion continued to move down the hall, her eyes peering around at every corner she could see. Sadly, she was yet to see these so called “monsters”, but she knew that could always happen later, too.

Hm, first things first. She had to at least get out of the female block. Then she’d be able to figure out exactly where she was planning on going.

And so, Shion continued down the hallway, humming a song as she went.

As Alita examined her fingers, Naminé winced slightly when she prodded and probed, but overall, Alita seemed satisfied with the fact that her fingers were still intact, for the most part. Naminé was quite happy about that too, obviously.

Still, Alita was never one to miss details, and she certainly caught how Naminé purposely left out the name of her offender. Well, she supposed it would serve as a warning, at the very least.

"Her name is Mion. I bumped into her actually, so maybe that's why she was upset with me. Either way, I intend to speak to her later. I upset her somehow, I want to find out why."

Actually, Naminé had half a mind to apologize for whatever she did, but even the witch couldn't exactly justify any excuse for Mion to hurt her like that. Regardless, there was the fact that she was new and that Naminé had told her many weird things.

Perhaps, she couldn't blame Mion for being so violent.

Mion.

Falis filed that name away and decided she'd indeed have a talk with the girl the next day. Now how would she go about finding her...

"Describe her to me, please," Falis said, purposefully putting the 'please' in because she wanted to get across to Namine that she wasn't just going to go up and beat this Mion up (though the idea was quite tempting). Besides, Jodou was always on her case about being more polite to people when she wanted something.

"And let me know anything else interesting about this encounter?"

There indeed was something about Alita's tone that hinted that she was not going to just punish Mion physically for what happened. Naminé figured she owed it to the other patients to warn them about potential dangers - if Mion could be triggered so easily, then it would be best to know to tread lightly around her.

"She has long green hair, to her waist. And green eyes too, actually. I don't think she would be very hard to miss. But... be careful around her, I don't know why she acted like that."

It was laughable to think that someone could hurt Alita, but who knew? Mion had looked like a friendly person, someone who wasn't a trained fighter at all. It looked like the witch was pretty good at getting fooled.

"Well, we should go. We can worry about this tomorrow, can't we?"

Long green hair... green eyes... that shouldn't be too hard to spot even in the crowd that had collected in the hospital. Falis nodded and patted Namine on the shoulder.

"Alright. Thanks," she said. "If you see her while we're out, make sure to point her out to me. I'd rather not be taken by surprise."

Falis' eyes moved to where Usagi was standing. "Let's go see if Usagi wants to come along," she said with a gesture to her blonde roommate.

"I will!" Naminé agreed. Hopefully, it wouldn't come to that.

She followed Alita's eyes to another blonde girl, who was quickly identified as Usagi. So, that was one of the girls that Alita had been talking about.

"Alright," She nodded, following Alita over to the other girl.
