Nightshift 32: F-A block hallway
[ from here ]
Shion continued to move down the hall, her eyes peering around at every corner she could see. Sadly, she was yet to see these so called “monsters”, but she knew that could always happen later, too.
Hm, first things first. She had to at least get out of the female block. Then she’d be able to figure out exactly where she was planning on going.
And so, Shion continued down the hallway, humming a song as she went.

Max slipped out into the larger corridor, eyes scanning the darkness intently for anything that would pose a threat. Seeing nothing, she hesitated in this hall, shifting restlessly from foot to foot.
This was where she'd met Thursday and Renji the night before, but there was no sight of them yet. Settling back against a wall to wait, she kept her eyes on the doorways, watching for her companions or anything else that might happen along.

Thursday kept her torch trained on the ground as she stepped around the corner, smiling as she spotted Max just down the hall.
"Evening," she called as she neared. "Dayshift go all right for you?"

She leaned against the wall, switching off the torch to conserve the batteries. "The twin thing isn't entirely unheard of in my world, actually - my dad occasionally travels to alternate worlds - but he's one of the only ones who can, and he can't talk about it much. How'd you find out about yours?"

OMGZORZ I IS HERE
Renji came into the F-block at a dead run, though he quickly slowed, following the sound of Thursday and Max talking. They were waiting the same place they had been the night before, which made it easier.
"Hey," he said as he walked up.
Re: OMGZORZ I IS HERE
"I found someone who looks exactly like my brother here, but it's not him. Also made for a slightly embarrassing first morning here," she answered Thursday ruefully as Renji joined them.
Max turned to shoot the redhead a crooked grin. "There you are. I was beginning to wonder if we were in the right place after all or not."
Re: OMGZORZ I IS HERE
She nodded at Renji, still smiling. "Evening, sir. Ready to move?"
Re: OMGZORZ I IS HERE
He nodded. "Yeah, let's get movin'. I brought the sword along, just in case."
