Day 32: Sun Room (4th Shift)
It was rare that Homura's nurse try to persuade him to a scheduled activity, but then, it was rare that Homura didn't go. But the demi-god had plans, and the poor woman had little other choice but to leave in a huff as he once again settled himself near the bulletin board in the Sun Room.
His conversation with Kenren the previous shift had left the demi-god with a lingering sense of anxiety. Perhaps it was something only those from his own world could do, but none the less, he was all the more ready for night to begin now. Goals and memories, the truth of his past and the possibility of the future: all thoughts lingering on the forefront of his mind, more than enough motivation to move forward.
Impatience was something of a rush for an immortal, he'd discovered. Homura liked the feeling, the excitement even before he had arrived in this prison. And now while he waited, he savored it again, a yearning that shone so much brighter than the boredom of Heaven.

Once they were somewhere more out of the way, she said, "There are blades you can use in brawls--for punching, not just for slashing. They're small, so it'd be a cinch to make two."
And maybe it wouldn't nearly knock her out...

"I think that's good," he nodded, taking her word for hoe well they'd work. "What'll you need me to get you for them?" And she'd most likely want some form of payment. What did people use for the common exchange here, anyway?

"Probably at least two sinks' worth of pipes. I'd get three, to be safe." The handles could be hollow if need be, which saved a little metal and weight, but this was one time she should probably avoid cutting down on mass; heavy hand grips meant more powerful punches.
Her knowledge of physics really came in handy here, and she had studied weapons before. It was seriously too bad she didn't have the power to make a cannon right now, because that could really come in handy.
Then again, if all the alchemists worked together... hmm.

More importantly, how was he going to get those supplies if he was going with Peter tonight? Especially if Peter's brother was coming along... They'd be sure to have their own plans. "I might not be able to get them to you tonight," he frowned. "But I'll get stuff together as soon as I can."

If he couldn't make it, though, it wasn't like she'd be left idle. She could contact somebody else if she had to, and obviously they'd be very glad to get bumped up. "Any idea when you'll know if you can make it?"
no subject
As for when he could make it, however... "I have no clue." He shook his head. "My plans tonight are still in the works. So, uh... Don't worry about waiting on me, I guess. Do whatever else you need to do."
