Day 32: Sun Room (4th Shift)
It was rare that Homura's nurse try to persuade him to a scheduled activity, but then, it was rare that Homura didn't go. But the demi-god had plans, and the poor woman had little other choice but to leave in a huff as he once again settled himself near the bulletin board in the Sun Room.
His conversation with Kenren the previous shift had left the demi-god with a lingering sense of anxiety. Perhaps it was something only those from his own world could do, but none the less, he was all the more ready for night to begin now. Goals and memories, the truth of his past and the possibility of the future: all thoughts lingering on the forefront of his mind, more than enough motivation to move forward.
Impatience was something of a rush for an immortal, he'd discovered. Homura liked the feeling, the excitement even before he had arrived in this prison. And now while he waited, he savored it again, a yearning that shone so much brighter than the boredom of Heaven.

"I'll leave that choice up to you, my friend." Okita did receive a smile, one oddly warm for the demi-god. In truth he did hope the man stayed, as Homura enjoyed his company. But there would be no harm if Okita didn't. For now, Homura had to focus on the business at hand.
"I am Homura." He confirmed it for both men, not moving from his spot on the wall. For these two, who had already missed an appointment and come late to the second, for whatever reason, Homura felt no need to posture. Or perhaps he was simply tired of it at the moment; there was no time to sleep, for either body or mind to rest.
"The goals of the History Club are revenge and escape. I'll hold no pretense about being a charitable organization; everyone who works in this group should understand that it was formed for the benefit of those within. We'll act according to our own needs, which do happen to coincide with the majority in most cases. However, if you wish to be a hero for the masses, then you should leave now."
Homura closed his eyes, and smirked as he thought over his own words. He was blunter today than normal, wasn't he? That strange impatience had quite an effect. "If for no other reason than you might find it hard to work with some of the established members. Particularly me."

The Sun Room was crowded, though it was not nearly as bad as the cafeteria. It still was enough that Zexion focused on breathing through his mouth. Reaching the group around the bulletin board, he moved next to the board itself. After this meeting, he would copy information off the board. If this was the meeting. "History Club, I presume?" he asked, to no one in particular. Whoever was in charge would speak up, he reasoned.

He hated wheelchairs. Sure, he could maneuver in one just fine, but that didn't change the fact that he hated them.
Since he'd been listening closely, he'd been able to catch bits of Homura's explanation as he limped towards everyone. Revenge and escape? I like those ideas. He established himself on the outer fringe of the group, noting that the sociopath-boy - Zexion - was there, too. Oh well. It's a free country. At least...I think it is. Where are we, anyway?

"Revenge and escape, you say?" Kunzite grinned, listening with keen interest as the words flowed forth, describing the perfect situation for the warrior; a selfish quest for the truth with the needless side effect of helping out the other inmates. And, more importantly, he thought, a chance to have my abilities returned to me...and to deal with the Senshi in proper form... "You've piqued my interest further, Homura," the warrior continued. "So what are our duties?"

Itachi nodded in agreement with Kunzite's interest. "Your goals match perfectly with mine. I have no use for heroes; they will accomplish nothing here. I am willing to work with your organization."

There was really no reason to do what he did other than the amusement factor of hushed tones and speaking into people's ears. Tatsunosuke always seemed to jump when he did that, but Okita had a feeling Homura would only grin. Moving back, he stood and brushed his pants off, motioning to the side like an usher showing his guests to their seats. "If the two latecomers would please follow me this way, I'd be happy to explain what you missed. Homura-san is our leader, but I do quite a bit as well."
Moving off to the side, Okita repositioned himself a bit of a ways away - close enough that Homura would still be able to hear, but far enough out of the way so as not to cause too many problems.
