Nightshift 30: M35, Clinic

Oh. Oh dear. Despite knowing little of the man on the radio in a personal sense, the news hit him hard. He wasn't sure if it was true, but... why would the doctor lie? If it weren't true, they'd find out easily enough, so it would be pointless. Right?

Oh, he was a horrible man! A part of Tamaki wished that he could fight, so he could help take down that awful person himself. But he knew it was just a flight of fancy. But what would they do now? Without any clues at all?

Sighing, he hung up the sign for the clinic. He needed to talk to Ed so badly, but he had his duties here. Even if he wasn't the best or the fastest, he could still do things. And he had to. So he sat down and waited, for either arrivals or some contradiction to what the Head Doctor had said.

Just in case.

Sousuke nodded, taking in the information. Well, they were back at square one now, and he didn't have a plan to fall back on. He didn't particularly want to wait around for either of them to be hurt and therefore, come to the clinic, yet trying to find two boys in an Institute was like trying to pull answers out of Al: banging one's head against a wall repeatedly.

"Do you know of anyone who may know their whereabouts?" Sousuke questioned, placing a reassuring hand on Miku's shoulder.

Miku's face fell and she tried very hard not to be unhappy, a task made harder by the curse marks. "Or... Alfons-kun's room? I... I can't seem to remember where they placed him..." she added quietly to their conversation.

She raised her eyes to Tamaki, and smiled.

"The pervert?" Sousuke repeated with a frown. Perverts were bad, weren't they? Kaname hit him a bunch of times with a baseball bat when she found him on her balcony with Kazuma and her underwear.

"Thank you for your assistance, Tamaki. Let's go find this awful pervert, Hinasaki."

The things he could say and keep a straight face...

So that creepy man on the bus was a pervert! No wonder she'd had a strange creeped out feeling from him. "Y-yes... thank you, Tamaki-san."

Everything she had ever learned about safety as a child told her that you never, ever, ever ran to find a pervert. But, as Sousuke was bigger, faster and stronger than what she assumed a pervert would be like... Well, maybe it would be okay. She could dream, anyway. Miku bowed slightly to Tamaki, even if he hadn't been especially helpful.

"He'll probably look for Ritsuka-kun, Sagara-san. We can check the other blocks?" She leaned her head towards where the next one lie.

Sousuke nodded. "Affirmative."

He placed a firm hand on her back and guided Miku out of the room. If they were going to find these people, they'd have to move quickly--before they ventured out too much further.
