Night 29: Main Hallway 2-East
[From here.]
William continued on out of the stairwell before looking around the area that they had passed through several nights before. Nothing had changed, it appeared, though that meant little in this place. William grinned and glanced over his shoulder at Wesker as he began walking.
"I am curious," he started, careful to keep his voice lowered. "Just how long do you think it would take for a man's will to break if an outside influence constantly causes his hopes to rise and fall?"

Thursday had never actually been on the second floor before. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but the sight of yet more hallways stretching out before her was, if not surprising, still a little depressing.
But she didn't have time to reflect on that. Glancing back briefly at Farfarello and MOMO, she paused to check the map again before heading onward.

Farfarello did appreciate that his comrades for the night didn't seem to be particularly chatty, though. He relied very much on his hearing, as well as his senses of touch and smell, to keep aware of what was going on around him in the dark since his vision was down by half even at the best of times. People talking all the time was distracting, and dangerous, considering.

So, rather than focus on the silence, MOMO concentrated on checking the information from her sensors every so often. Even if they weren't functioning to their full capabilities, they were still helpful. And she certainly wanted to avoid running into anything like that creature Naruto had described.
...oh. Right. There was that thing, wasn't there?
"Um," the realian began quietly. "There is something else I feel I should mention really quick. I never saw it the times I was up here, but I know someone who said he ran into something really strange up here. If I remember his description correctly, it definitely sounded different than the other monsters that roam at night. So, um... that's just something to look out for."

"What was his description?" she murmured, starting to move forward again.
