Night 29: Main Hallway 2-East

William continued on out of the stairwell before looking around the area that they had passed through several nights before. Nothing had changed, it appeared, though that meant little in this place. William grinned and glanced over his shoulder at Wesker as he began walking.
"I am curious," he started, careful to keep his voice lowered. "Just how long do you think it would take for a man's will to break if an outside influence constantly causes his hopes to rise and fall?"

"Why are you asking?" Wesker wanted to know where this had come from. William didn't seem concerned, because he was grinning.
When Birkin was grinning, though, there was usually something to be concerned about.
