Nightshift 27: M1-M40 block hallway
[From here]
Recluse turned the corner into the cell block hallway, still internally ranting about Landel. He was used to being the one in control of people like that infuriating doctor. There was a whole recruitment program for 'Mad Scientists' in Arachnos.
The vast majority of them ended up being killed by their on projects. Often in quite amusing, bloody, agonizing ways. That one little thought made everything seem just a little bit better.

"What Emperor would I be if I've not the right to worry for my people, much less my own guardian?" Larsa asked in a challenging tone before releasing his own sigh, one more fitting for a man thrice his age.
"My greatest fear was that you've been taken for experimentation, much like what Adelheid endured the other night." He finally confessed. He'd been one of the few whom witnessed how helpless his roommate was, and it was nothing short of horrific to imagine the very same expression from the man that stood next to him.
"... Yes." Though it was easy to tell that his mind was elsewhere when he answered.

"I see. T'is fair enough. I just pray you would use more caution, should it truly occur." He found it almost humorous how he was much more worried for the boy than for himself. And if Larsa should ever see it come to pass to himself... he was not sure how, but he would venture forth to the rooms alone.
Before he moved to turn to the hallway where they were to meet the Lady, the judge stopped, looking down with an inquisitive expression. "Is something else amiss?"

"'Tis nothing worth worrying over, Gabranth. For now we must not keep lady Celes waiting. T'would do no good to give her that impression." After all, she was both a sophisticated woman and a General, and Larsa would see fit to honor her as highly as he would his own Judge Magisters. And so, with a slow nod, he began to wander over to the set of doors that lead them to the next Hallway.
