With nothing horrific preventing him from getting there, Kaiji pushed open the door to the bathrooms and wandered in, his flashlight only turning on after he closed the door behind him. All he wanted was a bit of cool water from the sink: nothing more, nothing less. If something terrible happened to him at this point it would be undeniable proof that divine beings not only existed, but they also hated Kaiji with a burning passion. What had he done to earn their ire? Maybe it was his hair.

That did seem to annoy a lot of people.

He wandered over to one of the sinks and set his flashlight down, light bouncing off of one of the mirrors. Turning the faucet on ever-so-gently yielded... Not quite what Kaiji had been after. He turned the thing back off with a sigh. Even the bathrooms got creepy at night, which was so unfair he didn't even know where to begin. Sure bathrooms had a lot of potential for creepy, especially showers if every horror movie ever was any indication, but really. In practice, it just made Landel seem like even more of a dick. Not that Kaiji had much of a right to judge considering the fact that he once made a bathroom look more like a crime scene. But it was the thought that counted, dammit.

It was the most simplistic plan Kaiji had come up with since coming to Landel's, and it was foiled by the mere fact that it was night and things weren't allowed to be not-creepy.

Just as he was about to leave, something caught his eye.

A hole. In the wall. He hadn't noticed it before. What was it? A portal to hell? A peephole for someone who didn't quite know where the showers were? Was it even really there?

In an incredibly smart and totally cautious move, Kaiji tentatively stuck his seamed left hand through it and loosely wiggled his fingers.

Once the door was open Yue cautiously moved forward, casting about with his light to make certain nothing else was moving within the room before he entered completely. The place looked much the same as it had when he'd visited the week before, though it was clear that this time they were the first ones to visit.

Hopefully that meant that any of the Institute's creatures which might call this room their home hadn't yet been roused to alertness. He'd rather not have a repeat of their encounter the night before, not until they'd managed to better arm themselves, especially not when Touya had yet to recover.

The guardian glanced back over his shoulder at Touya and gestured into the room with his free hand. "I don't know if there's anything worthwhile in here, but it can't hurt to check."

It was the true that the room wasn't anything special, but it was still big enough to house quite a few patients and their visitors, so there was some room to move around. Sora knew that wasn't the best kind of environment to be fighting someone like Xigbar in, but those were the conditions he'd fought him in originally, so he was sure he could handle it again.

The fight was going to be very different with both of their powers weakened, but the boy was confident that he could at least hold his own.

He moved to the approximate middle of the room before turning around to watch the Nobody enter, his expression uncertain. He really didn't want to do this, but he knew Xigbar had a few ways to force his hand.
