Hallway Outside Sun Room
[[from here]]
The feeling was strong. There was something out there. And as he neared the Sun Room, it was even stronger. It felt like an Akuma, but he couldn't be sure, not in this place. As much as he didn't want to wait around here, he had to meet Emily. He couldn't help thinking that they should have picked a safer place. He'd never been very good at planning things though. He just had to take things as they came, one at a time.
He leaned against the wall with a sigh and settled in to wait, moving his flashlight up and down the hall just to be sure nothing was coming after him.

"I don't know what it is with you girls, but you're starting to make me question this curiosity over my age." At any other time, such a statement might be followed by I know I'm more mature than others, but don't make me feel nervous! just to get a rise out of the female population. Tonight, however, nothing of the sort would come.
The makeshift bag was hanging heavy at his back. Another night spent progressing backwards. It seemed like the story of his life, ever since he'd aligned himself with Kaname-sama. As though he were just destined to be on the fringes of information, always. Through no fault of others, just his own; he didn't understand why it always had to be that way.
"I'm sure this'll be close," he said, almost speaking to himself. Then, as though remembering Bella was still present: "We really have to get back now."

At that moment fear coursed through her, and Bella couldn’t help the shudder that flew down her spine. What was going on? Why did they have to rush back?
Bella looked around at the hallway as it started to slowly light up from the sunrise and thought nothing of it. It was only the sun rising, why was it such a big deal?

Turning his head back to one of the only people he'd had contact with all night, he squeezed her hand absently. "Come on, all of this - it has to mean something. I can't put up with this if we don't get back!"
There was the slight hope, however small, that once the night was burned away, the effects of the ghost woman's wrath would be gone with it.

A sense of urgency filled her as she sped up her pace, trying to remember where her room was and how to get there. If needed, she would sprint all the way back and hide her stuff wherever the hell she could, and would then proceed to pass out on the bed. It could work perfectly fine. If she was able to stay awake for more than 24 hours, she could do this just fine.
Guilt soon flooded her entire body as a thought danced through her mind; what if they didn’t get back on time and it was all because of her? What if because he had been forced to help her, he had wasted his own night? The thought made Bella frown with self-annoyance, and she simply began to move quicker, ignoring the dizzy feeling that was trying to overtake her once again.
