Hallway Outside Sun Room

[[from here]]

The feeling was strong.  There was something out there.  And as he neared the Sun Room, it was even stronger.  It felt like an Akuma, but he couldn't be sure, not in this place.  As much as he didn't want to wait around here, he had to meet Emily.  He couldn't help thinking that they should have picked a safer place.  He'd never been very good at planning things though.  He just had to take things as they came, one at a time.

He leaned against the wall with a sigh and settled in to wait, moving his flashlight up and down the hall just to be sure nothing was coming after him.

Glancing towards the staircase indicated, Light nodded thoughtfully while he worked on mentally reconstructing the second floor map he'd seen with as much detail as he could. He remembered the patio L had mentioned easily enough, as well as the unmarked rooms around it. He'd have to pay especially close attention to the surrounding area, not only because it was unknown, but because reporting information about it could earn him added esteem in Artemis's mind. He just needed to make sure he beat L to the punch.

"The second floor it is, then," he said, forcing himself to shake off his fear (he's need to ask for details about the person apparently guarding the Sun Room tomorrow) and walk in the direction of the stairs. "Maybe we'll find other useful things up there, too."

L still needed to see the transcripts, and he hoped that he would have an opportunity to see them once they reached their destination. He also hoped that he would be able to find what Mr. Doe had asked for, now that his plans had changed. Any kitchen meant for the staff would likely be smaller than one that took care of the patient’s needs. So far, nothing disagreeable had crossed their path. Though he was curious about what was beyond the doors to the sunroom, and glanced back in that direction before following Light to the stairs. “Yes, perhaps we shall.”
