Hallway Outside Sun Room

[[from here]]

The feeling was strong.  There was something out there.  And as he neared the Sun Room, it was even stronger.  It felt like an Akuma, but he couldn't be sure, not in this place.  As much as he didn't want to wait around here, he had to meet Emily.  He couldn't help thinking that they should have picked a safer place.  He'd never been very good at planning things though.  He just had to take things as they came, one at a time.

He leaned against the wall with a sigh and settled in to wait, moving his flashlight up and down the hall just to be sure nothing was coming after him.

"We can't worry about our wounds...now." Citan was panting, his breaths ragged and harsh. "We need to get to safety. Alright, come along then."

He didn't offer any false assurances, he didn't promise that they'd be alright. He was a smart enough man to know the danger they were both in. He struggled to his feet, a fresh wave of blood spilling forth from the wound in his abdomen. Both his back and his front were spilling blood and he knew he needed to stop the flow or he'd bleed out completely.

"Quickly, Miku."

Miku nodded and they hurried at the speed of snails to the patients wing, dripping blood. She didn't speak except for a muffled moan on her part when they had to turn the corner. It would be safer for them to go to the men's section first, was the quiet consensus.

"Where... where should we go?" she asked, pressing her hand to the wound on his back to help him.

"Down here." Citan could only jerk his head in the direction of the men's hallways. "The first room we come to...will be safe." He was thankful for the hand on his back. It was blood loss he was most worried about. As far as he could tell he wasn't bleeding into any of his organs - he wasn't coughing up blood, he wasn't leaking bodily waste, intestines and the like seemed to be un-opened.
