Hallway Outside Sun Room

[[from here]]

The feeling was strong.  There was something out there.  And as he neared the Sun Room, it was even stronger.  It felt like an Akuma, but he couldn't be sure, not in this place.  As much as he didn't want to wait around here, he had to meet Emily.  He couldn't help thinking that they should have picked a safer place.  He'd never been very good at planning things though.  He just had to take things as they came, one at a time.

He leaned against the wall with a sigh and settled in to wait, moving his flashlight up and down the hall just to be sure nothing was coming after him.

Clark didn't think it was the best idea to stick around, but neither was it to turn his back on a couple of kids who might need help. They were hovering near the door. What was shocking was how young some of them were though. They looked like middle schoolers or something, and he had to wonder what kind of place this really was. Okay, so he wasn't that much older, but still.

"We better take a look," Clark said, frowning and indicating that he'd noticed the two kids that Peter had. "Maybe see if they want to come with us?"

Great, he had to keep asking for more people to tag along, as if it wouldn't be hard enough to conceal his powers with one person. Then again, maybe everyone would be so distracted with each other that they wouldn't be paying attention to him. Besides, that aside, Clark just thought it a pretty bad idea as a high schooler to let a bunch of little middle schoolers wander around without adult supervision.

And he was well aware he didn't fit that bill yet, but hey, Peter did that for him.
