Hallway Outside Sun Room
[[from here]]
The feeling was strong. There was something out there. And as he neared the Sun Room, it was even stronger. It felt like an Akuma, but he couldn't be sure, not in this place. As much as he didn't want to wait around here, he had to meet Emily. He couldn't help thinking that they should have picked a safer place. He'd never been very good at planning things though. He just had to take things as they came, one at a time.
He leaned against the wall with a sigh and settled in to wait, moving his flashlight up and down the hall just to be sure nothing was coming after him.

He didn't want to get separated from them, even though the kitchen was one place he thought he could find in the dark.

Crap. Something was going down around here, and, as he got closer to the Sun Room, the fear got even worse, almost to a hysterical intensity.
He fought to keep his voice level. "I want to just get out of here and to the kitchen. I think..." he swallowed; his throat had gone dry. "I think we should just sprint through the Sun Room into the cafeteria. We're all fine with that?"

He glanced down at the aluminum bat in his hand. He rather doubted it would make much of a difference in there. Javert was hardly a coward, but he was intelligent enough to recognize when the odds weren't in his favor.
"Perhaps we should try looking elsewhere," he said after a moment.

"I have no goals. If it's not safe there, I agree with you, Javert." Just to get away from the trouble. He wanted to learn as much as possible about this place. "Were there places you visited on other nights?"

He frowned slightly and began to walk again, heading past the open door, teeth clenched. "Perhaps the hallways upstairs will be less dangerous."

"I am inclined to think anywhere is better than here at the moment. I assume you know where the stairs are?"
no subject
Javert had never taken the stairs in question before, but he'd made it his business to memorize his maps by heart. It was something to do in his spare time.
He kept walking.
