DAY 26: Men's Showers (Second Shift)
Gluttony didn't want to leave his Lust, not after he'd just found her! But the mean tasty nurses said he had to. "You can't join her in the women's showers" was a bad excuse. He didn't like the mean tasty nurses. Maybe Lust would let him eat them later. Still, he knew he would see his Lust again, and that was good. He liked Lust. She was good and beautiful and smart and kind. Why did they have to take him away from his Lust?
Still, he would see her again. And she would tell him it was okay to eat the tasty nurses, and that would be good. His new friend liked eating people, too. That made him happy to find a friend who shared a love for eating people. Today was a very good day.
As he entered the showers, he stood under a shower head and opened his mouth wide to drink up the water. It wasn't as good as eating people, or eating waffles that didn't scream when he bit into them so weren't nearly as good as eating people, but it was still swallowing something, and that made him feel better.

Padding barefoot across the wet tiles, Qui-Gon sought out an available water spout. He found himself next to Gin, a young man he hadn't seen for quite sometime. He was rather gratified to find him in one piece considering Renji's words days earlier when he'd found out about the man being within the walls.
"It has been a while, Gin," Qui-Gon said mildly, stepping under the running water and passing fingers through moist, graying hair. He glanced aside at the other man, taking notice of the red flecks on his arms - he'd been pretty sure those hadn't been there before.

He ran a hand through his hair. Jinn seemed to be a good voice of reason around here. Maybe this was an opportunity presenting itself. He could do worse, certainly.

The Jedi Master wiped water from his face. He wasn't entirely sure on the details of the encounter between Gin and Renji, but the important part was that Renji hadn't given into his darker impulses. Qui-Gon had told him that he wouldn't condone slaughter or turn a blind eye, and while he stood by his word, he hadn't wanted Renji as an enemy. He had to wonder what exactly happened between the two men, but whatever it was, it looked to have kept the peace.
For now, at least.
"Have you located any others from your world?" Qui-Gon asked. It was a fair question, considering it wasn't unusual for strange reunions in this place.

"Though I don't know that I'd call 'em allies or anythin'. Most of 'em hold me in th' same regard as Abarai-kun." Yes, there was reason for his actions. If he was pressed he might say why, but admitting a weakness to an enemy was practically suicide. He thrived by keeping secrets and only telling when they must be told. It'd been difficult enough a thing to tell Rangiku and even now it seemed to have been an error on his part. It was probably too early to tell.

The Jedi Master began to lather soap over his skin. "It appears you have worked out the differences between you and Renji," he said.

He shook his head under the water a few times. His hair was short, so it didn't take long before the water ran clear. Flipping it out of his eyes, he went for soap next. "Which is a pity really. F'all Abarai-kun's work, he needs a better strategist, ne? Got the numbers, but not direction." He gave a shrug, disinfecting his wounds first, out of habit. "N' me, I got jus' the opposite. Seems a waste."
