Night 73: Main Hallway 3-Center

The door led out to another balcony, like the one on the second floor, where they could see down into the Sun Room below. There was a sheet of glass, however, that meant though they could see down, nobody could see up. ... Too bad for Landel that hadn't been enough to keep this floor a secret.

From here, however, there were a lot of potential places to go. "Normally I'd suggest starting at the end, but I guess it doesn't make much of a difference in this case," he said with a frown. They couldn't methodically check through every room in a linear fashion like that when there was no predicting where any of the pads they found might take them.

Kyousuke continued up the hall after Sora and Link's examinations failed. To be honest, he wasn't sure he approved of such a haphazard method of looking through things, but he supposed this would be faster—provided they weren't overlooking anything important. He kept his misgiving to himself, and turned the knob to the large set of door, but it didn't budge.

"... It's locked," he commented. It also wasn't rusted over, and if he assumed this was anything like other doors he came across like this, that meant they wouldn't be able to open it without a key. It was frustrating, when in any normal case he could just break the whole thing down in a single blow, but he supposed there were places where Landel anticipated that kind of power. In any case, there wasn't anything they could do about it right now. "I guess we'll have to save it for later."

He pressed on, finding yet another door that was already completely open, scanning the inside before stepping in completely.
