Night 73: Patient Library
[From here.]
The library was quiet and dark when Lloyd entered, barring the light from their flashlights. Lloyd let the light from his flashlight play across the books, the floor, even the ceiling for good measure. He hadn't forgotten the monster that had seemed to slither out of the darkness just a couple of nights ago.
"You guys see anything?" He kept his voice soft, barely above a whisper. If there was something in here, he didn't want to attract its attention. Not that they'd be able to avoid it once they opened that secret door, but hopefully they'd be able to get out before anything blocked their path.

"... This is too easy," he muttered with a frown. This didn't seem like a place Landel would leave unprotected, so in all likelihood, there was something bigger waiting for them further down. It could have just been paranoia on his part, but at the same time, he'd rather be proven wrong than caught completely off guard.

Still, they could worry about it all they wanted, but that wasn't going to stop them from continuing on. Sora didn't think they'd been let off the hook or anything like that, which meant they were just going to have to be more careful as they pressed on.
"Let's make the most of it while it lasts," he said with a shrug. The way was open now, and so they were going to need to rush through before the secret passage closed on them. Sora darted forward, looking up and down the aisles of books before he rushed through into the next area.
