Night 69: Sun Room

The Sun Room was still and quiet as they entered. Rita knew better than to take that for granted, though. She’d been caught off guard before. With her flashlight, she gave the area a quick scan before starting to make her way to the Library. She considered telling Taura to stay on guard, but that was probably unnecessary. Taura seemed to have a good idea of the risks they were facing.

Luke had to agree with Tsurugi on this one. The Sun Room always seemed so inconspicuous, until something sneaked up behind you. He was mindful of the second floor above them, too, knowing that something could jump down from out of nowhere at a moment's notice. Still, he couldn't help but hope that they made it to the door without incident.

As they crept slowly forward, the replica kept his eyes on their rear until they had passed the threshold of the cafeteria doors.
