Day 66: Sun Room (Second Shift)
Link wasn't in the mood for 'rest and relaxation,' as the boss had put it. Daytime here was completely unproductive, and it was frustrating. There was little he could do, other than keep up with recording his map. He supposed he ought to take the chance to get to know the other patients: Who was powerful, who needed help, who knew what... Perhaps some of the people who had been here longer. Link was lucky he had Sora as a friend, who seemed to know a good deal about how things worked.
It was a two-edged sword, though, that the boy had to have been trapped here for quite some time to be as settled as he was.
The Hylian settled into a chair with his journal, tapping the strange sort of writing device he had been given against his chin. It had become evident last night that the building was relatively organized, the second floor being similar in its main layout to the first floor. That was somewhere to start, at least.
[Nina, dearest!]

"M20." It was not too far from Sora's room, he realized. Small blessings. "It shouldn't take me long at all to get there, perhaps..." Kratos frowned as he tried to calculate how long it would take for him to sprint to M7. "...three minutes, at most?" He would have to begin preparing during dinner, but that was no problem at all.
"I assume this 'Tsurugi' can hold on for at least that much." He had no idea who that person was, but he trusted Sora to enlist the aid of someone who could actually do something if put in a potentially life-or-death situation.

He and Tsurugi could handle this. No, they definitely would, because there was no other choice. Sora clenched his fist and set it against his chest to feel the steady beat of his heart. While it was faster than it should have been, while he was still scared, he knew his friends would be there for him.
"We'll hold on," he confirmed. "Both of us will. Thanks so much for this, Kratos." Sora only barely stopped himself from placing a "mister" before the man's name, but he'd been asked repeatedly not to. And there was no need for titles with friends anyway, right? "I'm not sure what I would have done if you weren't able to help me." He would have had to turn to someone like Tsubaki, and that just didn't seem fair.

Yes, that was one of the reasons why he stuck around Arts and Crafts, even though his debt to Momo had probably been long repaid: someone had to take care of the unpleasant jobs, and Kratos could at least trust himself to get them done right. After all, he held the dubious honor of possessing all of the necessary skills and experience for these kinds of situations.
He nodded. "I'm glad I could be of help." Perhaps he was speaking prematurely, since they had no way of knowing how things would go later in the evening, but he was prepared to face whatever consequences came about.
