Almost there. As they walked, Aidou was watching, straining his senses to see if he could catch even a trace of Aigis’ presence. It was hard with his natural abilities dampened and the cacophony of scents that tangled in the air--some from other prisoners, some from the walls themselves, always as if old and congealed blood had been smeared along the inside of the walls.

As for the infection… “The difference this time is that Landel seems intent on a true physical transformation. Yours didn’t progress, but ugh, can you imagine what it’ll be like if it gets to that point?” The first image that rose in Aidou’s mind was that of an ex-human. A creature so out of control that it couldn’t discern friend from foe was the very definition of a nuisance.

Definitely good neither of them were displaying symptoms so far…
