Nightshift 24: Second M Block, Near the bathrooms and exit

((Coming from here.))

It wasn't a long way to go before he wound up at the doors leading out of the cellblock. Kimbley couldn't quite remember what room Wesker said he was in - not that it mattered - but he knew it would still be a while. The doors had just unlocked; he wasn't expecting anything, or anyone, else to show up and recognize him for a while.

Hah, although it would be deadly if Mustang showed up and saw him. Then he might have to forego traveling through this place with Wesker just to spend some time with his old friend. That would be more than worth the later bruises he got - or the current ones.

Now he was hoping Mustang arrived. Really, really hoping. He hadn't had fun since Lior; it was about time something happened.

If Haku were the type of person to show his emotions easily, he would have been staring in open-mouthed shock at the older boy in front of him. This... Ginji had not only turned his back on an unknown person, but was also giving information?

There were only two explainations Haku could think of. One: This Ginji person was strong and knew he could take Haku out with no problems. Or two: Ginji was ... naive.

He followed along, still smiling and then looking confused at the question. "Oh, these?" Haku smiled brightly. "On my first night here," he began, "two nurses tried to remove my eye. It looked a lot worse then." He brought up a hand and laughed softly. "I told them I was still using it."

Ginji looked disturbed by the idea of such a thing happening. He shook his head and turned to move again. "This place is horrible," he said. "I'm going to stop them from hurting people like they do. I have to."

He meant every word that he said... if only he knew how to do it though.

Haku followed along. That cinched it. Ginji was naieve. Or... perhaps not naieve more like.... innocent? Did that work?

Whatever it was, Haku followed along in silence, keep his ears open for danger. Ginji already had his flashlight out, so he could also see as they walked.

Ginji grew silent as they walked. He knew better than to make too much nose, even his footsteps were quiet.

They made it to the doorway. He glanced at Haku for a moment before stepping through to the next hallway.
