Nightshift 23: 2nd floor staff-only outdoor patio lounging/eating area
[ from here]
With VII following closely, Xemnas reached the door at the end of the hall. His hand reached for the doorhandle and turned it, mildly surprised the door happened to be unlocked. While he slowly pushed it open, he felt the cold breeze from outside.
He proceeded further outside, scanning his surroundings troroughly for treats lurking in the shadows. It appeared they were in some kind of patio which, judging by the furniture, was most-likely used for lounging. It seemed highly unlikely to find something useful in here. However, there were two doors. And who knew what these doors could be leading to?

Pressing his full weight down, one clawed hand retained it's grip, digging into the Superior's flesh deeper while the other moved to swipe wildly at his midsection.
Behind him, the moon shined brightly.

It would seem this institute had its number of effects on the Luna Diviner. His subordinate was more savage, yet completely lacking the sense he previously possessed when under the Moon Spell. It would seem the beast could not be tamed, not to be locked as long as the moon still hung in the sky. There would be no point in reasoning.
As the clawed hand swiped at his midsection, tearing the skin beneath it, Xemnas finally lost his balance.
Even despite the everlasting desire to exist, there were instances where not being able to feel had its number of advantages. The Superior wasn't able to experience fear for what might be coming, nor any sense of panic as he finally hit the hard ground of the patio.
In this vulnerable state, he was an easy prey for the savage beast.

When Xemnas fell, Saïx fell with him, left knee falling hard into the other Nobody's stomach. He descended like the monster he'd become, a strangled cry escaping his lips as he began to lose some steam. Still, he swiped and clawed and tore at whatever flesh he could get his hands on. The fortunate thing about the tactic being that he wasn't of sound enough mind to focus on one spot, thus the wounds would be spread out and not as grievous as a singular, deep one could've been.

It seemed Saïx instantly took the opportunity to damage all the flesh he could reach. He slightly winced with each time the nails tore through his skin, blood spattering all over his body. The cuts might not have been deep, but his injuries were not the first thing on the Nobody's mind. The Superior was all the more occupied with trying to throw his VII off him, nothing more but an attempt to shift the situation in his favor.
Who would've thought he'd be wrestling with one of his most loyal subordinates?

As his strength depleted, Saïx became sloppier and less resistant, eventually being thrown back, just a bit, giving Xemnas a chance to gather himself and counter the attack or leave while VII remained on one knee, clearly conflicted as his inner struggle to control himself became more apparent.
"Go..." he whispered in a a voice that sounded like a hoarse growl. Any further attempt at communication on his part was stiffled as his entire body shook. He would rather leave himself a lone and vulnerable to prey than continue to assault the only person he had ever deemed worthy of his complete loyalty.
If he could've felt regret, surely it would've been coming in spades by this point.

Eventually, Xemnas managed to throw the other Nobody off, giving him the opportunity he had been waiting for. Gasping for air, he struggled to his feet while ignoring his wounds for the time being.
Sparing his subordinate a glance, expression unreadable, he proceeded for the exit. Whatever it was that he planned on doing about this situation, now was not the time.
[ooc; I just saw I made one heck of a typo in my previous post...'his VII' .__.' *felt the need to point that out* XDD;]
