Day 54: Recreational Field
Well, that was the most exhausting lunch Elena had ever experienced. And she didn't get around to eating very much either. Her headache was a least somewhat bearable now, but as the shift ended, she realized how stupid it had been to not get something in her system before the shift ended. But that apparently wasn't in the cards. In fact, just as she stopped panicking long enough to try and get some food down, her nurse was sweeping to her side.
"Shift change, m'dear." Like she hadn't noticed everyone getting up out of their seats and leaving the cafeteria. "I'll take your tray for you, and you make sure to get out to the field on time."
"On time?" Her blank expression must have given away more than she realized, because the nurse was giving her yet another sympathetic look.
"You slept thought a lot this morning, I'm afraid. I'll explain along the way."
By the time they had reached the Rec Field, the nurse had explained most of what had happened with the food fight, and the tear gas, and it only served to damage her calm yet again that day. Of course she slept through something like this, and of course the boys and girls were split up this shift, and of course Elena would have to wait around for some uniformed man to call out her fake name before she could get to Stefan.
At least her last name was near the stop of the list.
"Bailey, Samantha-"
"Here! I'm here. Can I go back inside now? Please?"
Though she didn't even wait for an answer before turning back and heading for the building. As far as she was concerned, she did what she was told, and there was no good reason why she couldn't make her way to the Sun Room right this very second.

'Handy' was sort of an understatement but she supposed a quick description didn't do any martial art justice. She shrugged and smiled. "Just a suggestion if you ever feel the need to learn a new fighting style." In Ilia's mind judo would be perfect for Anise because it focused on defense as well as offense, but she wouldn't push the issue. As it was, Anise had taken care of herself well enough and she'd been here for about a month. Surely she understood her needs better than Ilia. It didn't stop the scientist from worrying a little bit about her young friend.
"Don't feel down if you don't get it immediately," Ilia cautioned as she began to step away. After all, Frisbee was no fun without some space between them. "I'll go first, so just be prepared to catch, okay?"
Once she made it a fair distance away, she resumed her stance from before and judged the shot. It was close enough to make it easy for Anise but far enough to give Ilia a feeling she wasn't just tossing a given. Her throw was simple and true, the disk gliding smoothly through the air. It helped that there weren't any terrible gusts today, just a light breeze. "See, like that. Nice and easy."

Ilia's reassurance allowed Anise to relax a little. Grinning, she nodded and tried to prepare to catch the disc. Fortunately, Ilia threw it gently and precisely, and it glided right within Anise's reach.
She reached out, but the disc bounced off her palm, which sent it wobbling in another direction. Lunging forward, Anise managed to grab it properly before it could hit the ground. "... Eheh," she giggled awkwardly as she straightened her back after the ungraceful catch. "At least I didn't drop it, right?" She probably could have done worse for her first try.
"I throw it back now, right? ... Like this?" Anise tried to imitate the stance that Ilia had taken, carefully gauging the angle and height to aim for. When it seemed about right, she flicked her wrist, sending the disc into the air. It flew without much trouble, but it veered off to the side as it neared Ilia.
