Night 52: M91-M100 Hallway
Naruto was glad he'd managed to make it through a whole day, for once. AND he still had the kunai Sakura had given him a couple nights ago. That meant all he had to do was find her, or Sasuke, or someone he could trust, and they could try this again.
Okay, okay, so it was kind of annoying that they weren't really getting anywhere. But it couldn't be that way forever, right?

He was quick to finish, setting the plates aside before shifting to lie down on the bed and waited for the inevitable intercom announcement. Though the message itself was short and straight to the point, it left the God-General wondering what exactly Landel had 'in store' for them.
As usual, the replica prepared lightly, keeping his flashlight close while tucking his folded maps into the waistband of his pants. He didn’t pay much mind to the other occupant, instead standing up and walking out of the room as soon as the doors unlocked.

M93
His roommate hadn't come to dinner. He guessed he had been released or something, though Heiji didn't know who to contact. Someone would figure it out. They always did.
At the moment, Heiji had his own problems. Most of which consisted of the cramps he was forming by huddling on the bed in the corner of his empty room. Watching, waiting. Kaitou Kid be damned, Heiji wasn't going out there for anyone.

Past experience might have objected, but his first order of business was a change of clothes. One or the other family member would likely claim offense; therefore, it was a small blessing Nigredo would meet neither tonight--that he decided hours ago. No one would find fault with his choice, and he would be warmer than he had been for days.
As always, the only thing he took out into the open was the gun.

He jolted when the intercom sounded, having been drifting in his head to the exclusion of all else. He shook himself, trying to force himself into a mindset better suiting nightshift, and stumbled to fetch his things.
She makes you vulnerable.
She does nothing of the kind.
You're thinking of her, not focussing on what you should be doing.
I missed her, Hallelujah.
Not much good to anyone if it gets you killed. I'll...
No. Not... not yet. I can manage.
If you say so. I'll be watching.
He sighed, reaching for his things before heading outside, trying to drag his mind away from that haunting idea.
M99
He dressed and gathered his things, the ring last of all, he slipped it on over his gloves, glancing briefly at the jewel of his own blood. It would take them to the house, where there was nothing really to report, but Yuuhi supposed the town was more likely to have some sort of clue than the institute itself. The doctor would know wouldn't he? If that Marc person was in his own building.
