Nightshift 50: Doctor's Office 3 [Dr. Kisugi]
[from here]
The lurch of nausea was no more welcome than the night before, though by now it had become familiar and expected. The moment his feet touched sold ground again, he darted around his meat shield and tried to bring the back of the chainsaw down against Uke-kun's temple. Between the sudden shift and the previous attacks there was a chance of it working, but even if it didn't... that wasn't a problem.
The office itself was noted only peripherally. If there were other predators present, they would just have to wait their turn. (As if monsters really had a sense of propriety.) So many things could go wrong. Despite the payoff it was a relatively sloppy, dangerous move but caution and patience were things of the past.

His opponent had jumped to avoid the blade, and that left him open in the airborne moment before he could properly strike again -- but before Sasuke could take advantage of it, the floor swept out from under his feet and he reeled into that same nauseous feeling as he'd had last night when they'd reached the door.
They'd wound up somewhere entirely different last time; Sasuke shot to standing from where he'd been crouched low, ready to counter -- it was a mixture of luck and speed that meant the movement saved him from taking Muraki's blow where it had been intended. The strike smashed into the juncture of his neck and shoulder instead, searing down a spike of pain that the curse seal only intensified; Sasuke made a low sharp cry despite himself and whirled on his attacker.
His left side was momentarily numb and unusable, but his sword arm was still good -- he thrust the weapon out point-first at where Muraki should have been, aiming for the tender region of the man's stomach.

But the guy he was defending hadn't mentioned anything about having a god damn chainsaw with him.
Raph cursed as the man dodged around him, catching his opponent a blow with the heavy weapon before either of them could react.
"What the hell?! I can take care of this myself!" he snapped automatically, not liking the interference. Before he could protest too much more, the guy who'd started this whole mess lunged with his own weapon again and Raph dove in closer, trying to deflect the blow with his sword.

He hissed as the blade slashed a shallow cut across his abdomen. Though he'd tried to dodge back, it was too slow by half and the meat shield's deflection saved him from yet another lovely stab wound. He'd have to remember to thank the boy properly once he did his job. If he did his job.
He hung back, pressing a hand over the wound instead of pressing his advantage, the chainsaw held in a more defencive position. "Then end it quickly," He shot back sharply.

It would be enough just to knock him out of the fight, at any rate; once Muraki had been incapacitated and whatever information he had wrung out of him, there would be leisure to find out what his position really was.
With that in mind, Sasuke closed his eyes and focused on sound, letting it guide him as he'd learned over these weeks: positioning the height of the interference by where his voice issued, the length of his reach by the distance of his footsteps before their weapons collided. The man had cleared his blade, but Sasuke had regained feeling in his left arm in the interim.
With both their sword arms outstretched for a second, he took a quick step forward and brought his hand forward sharply, fingers outstretched and aiming for the pressure point at the side of the neck. He drew his sword back and closer to his body at the same time, muscles tensing to link a second attack to this in case of failure.

Killing people wasn't something he was unprepared for, since he was a ninja after all, but it wasn't something he was just going to do with no provocation at all. Not if he could help it anyway.
Unfortunately, with his rather volatile temper, he didn't always have the control over himself when things got a little too hectic.
The guy lashed out in a quick movement, his hand snaking out and aiming for a strike to a pressure point. Hah, if he thought that was going to do anything, he had another thing coming! Raph had a lot of practice with stuff like that, hours against his brothers and Splinter, so it was second nature to block the incoming strike and, with a yell that was part anger and part enjoyment from the fighting, charge the guy. His own weapon whipped out to entangle with his opponent's, then they collided heavily.
What Raph hadn't been paying attention to was their surroundings (which would have earned him a healthy whack with his sensei's walking stick), as the momentum had them both crashing through the door into this room and tumbling out into the hallway beyond.
