Night 50: Main Hallway, 1-West

It looked like the hallway opened up over here. Guess he couldn't expect to just run around and follow a linear corridor forever, but now he had to figure out which way he wanted to go. Normally, he'd just run down whatever hallway he happened to lay eye on first, but again, he was running a liiittle blind here.
He still wasn't seeing any people anywhere. Maybe everyone was hiding. If everyone knew the staff turned into monsters and tried to eat them, then it'd make sense that they'd try to keep low. Thankfully, he'd be taking care of whatever was wandering around this place, so they wouldn't have to stay hiding for long. Once that was done, they could blast their way out of there and he could find his way back to the others. Couldn't keep everyone waiting on account of him, right?

"It's probably easiest if we take the stairs here," Anise said, pointing to the stairwell to their left. Without waiting for a reply, she began walking in that direction.
As she walked, the girl realized she'd forgotten something important. She didn't even introduce herself! And she had no idea what to call this guy.
"My name's Anise, by the way," she told him, still smiling. First impressions were important! She hoped she hadn't damaged hers too much by taking so long to give her name. Then again, this guy probably wasn't too opinionated about those kinds of things. "What's yours?"

"Pleasure to meet you, Miss Anise," he replied politely. "Stormtrooper Sergeant TK-622. Although if you aren't comfortable with a designation, this place gave me the name 'Temuera', which I also answer to for convenience's sake." Some just didn't seem to like the idea of referring to someone by a number. Personally, he didn't understand it. It was short and unique to him, so it cut out any confusion that civilians had with common names.

Upon hearing the man's name (if it could even be called that) Anise paused in front of the stairs, then looked at him with a dubious stare. "That's... your name?" As the man had expected, she was having a hard time processing it. "I mean... that's a number." She was studying him with an odd look now. Normal people didn't have names like that, so...
...She wondered.
